Well I am wanting to upgrade the feed line and was thinking 8aN to filter than 6an froM filter to fpr. What I was wondering is can I just put the 8an on the stock filter housing and clamp it down or will I have to modify it?

There is a AN fitting adapter that has the same thread size/pitch as the stock filter, top port on the filter is 12mmx1.25mm and the bottom is 14mmx1.5mm. I have one installed in my car but I went from -6an to the stock fuel filter thread. Check JNZ or STM for the adapter, or even Summit since now you know the size.

well I was buying an aftermarket filter. I was wondering how to attach the line to the pump.

Seriously your better off getting rid of a paper element filter. Stm makes a nice fuel rail adapters for -6/8an and they fit perfect and never leaked on me. Getting rid of the banjo bolt and stock filter should be good for over 500 awhp, unless you want more.

That's what I am doing can build my own for less than half of the stm kit. I'm wondering about attaching the line to fuel pump not fuel rail. I wasn't sure if I could just clamp it On the fuel pump housing or what

I believe stm was making a fitting to use the stock hanger with a 8an check them out. Otherwise you will need an aftetmarket hanger like full blown you cant use the stock with a 8an line. 6an is same size so its not really an upgrade.

Well I only want to run a single pump. I'm confused can I not clamp it to stock hose location on pump or is this only possible with 6an.

You just need an adapter so you can use your 6an threads on the end of the stock hard line. The hard line on my car comes out of the fuel sender unit and is about 3-4" long with a flare end on it. Pretty easy route without having to drill and modify the stock sending unit.

Here's one I found from rtm. I believe I purchased one for a little cheaper from jnz.
