I was trying to figure out if I need to swap plug wires, injector wires, or pins at the ecu if I use a H8 flashable ecu in my 95 awd tsi. I am going to use a 1G CAS. I am pretty sure I won't need to since I will be converting to the 1G CAS, but I was just looking for input from someone who has perhaps used this combo in the past or present. Thanks in advance and apologies if this is in the wrong section.

That's good, did you notice a difference in the speed and performance of the h8 ecu? I'm seriously considering this or an evo 8 for the better injector drivers and it's processing speed and memory. It's between getting link v3 on my 1g ecu or, going the h8, or evo 8.

Honest answer, the car sits right now with a walbro 255, precision 1200cc injectors, and everything else stock. I have spent the past year or so just gathering parts and looking for time to work on it. I have a lot of other projects and two young kids so the car sits a lot. But it honestly seems to start, idle, and run better after switching to the black box ecu. Yes I flashed it for the injectors. But really haven't messed with properly tuning it as I haven't installed my hx35 and other upgrades on yet. I'm not what you would call a die hard dsm enthusiast. Just enjoying the time I get to tinker with something. I plan on getting the holset installed and eventually building a decent 6 bolt for it. I also have an evo ecu I plan on using eventually.
