Ok so this might sound dumb, but i did a mostly stock rebuild on my 90 tsi over the last 5 years and finally got around to finishing it up. When i tried to start the car i got no spark on all 4 cylinders I know the coil pack is 2 seperate packs and the chance of both of them going out at the same time was kinda slim, So im trying to test my 6 pin power transistor. The connection was a bit corroded so i cleaned it up with the ol wire brush. I am using the method that popped up in every search HERE. And when i test cylinders 1&4 (pins 1-2-3) the light flashes for a very short second and then goes out. If i disconnect it and wait about 10 minutes and hook it back up to 1&4 again the light will again just give me 1 quick flash. When i test for cylinders 2&3 (pins 3-5-6) i get nothing. Im assuming the pins go -1-2-3-X-5-6- with pin 4 being missing. Am i doing this right? If so im guessing this thing is dead?
