I agree that the gsx is awesome on ice and snow. I had a quarter inch of ice in roads 2 days ago and didn't slip an inch in my gsx. Got in my f250 to haul something and i was sliding all over.

19psi daily driven here until my external oil cooler wiggled apart and made my balance shaft bearing freeze
after i rebuild and possibly convert to awd, i will be back at it next season with 400-500 awhp

I DD my AWD Talon, but it's pretty tame as far as DSMs go (about 18psi on a small 16g).

Once in a great while I'll take the Cow Car to work. It's gutted and filthy from racing though. Kind of annoying to to drive at 7am.

I have a work truck that I drive to and from work (HVAC) but I still manage to drive my. GST just about everyday, and if I don't I start it and play around under the hood for 15-30 min, sometimes longer

I just drove it 4hrs south to VA beach, got 37 MPG believe it or not I was amazed steady 70mph, used to 12 city driving, and boosting from light to light. Such fun cars, I just want a 1g AWD eventually.

I'll never be done with the car, I want a beautiful almost perfect cayane red. GST. But a ways away from that.

I love that I've spent less on all 3 of my cars, Buying them and modding them than a few of my friends sti's. And they still havnt beat my gst 12.4 times LOL!! And they have spent so much more haha and more and more LOL! And now my gvr4 is about to catch them now too LOL! My one friend hates it. He tried so hard this session to beat my times cuz I'm not racing. He knew it was his only shot before I get my cars back on the road. It was epic guys he failed big time!! Lol was way to worried about beating me than having a properly tuned car. It was sad to watch really sad a car probably worth 40-50k who knows maybe more, running high 15's LOL and then he broke a axle and ended his own session LOL. Dsm ftw!!!
sucks for dude

I am somewhat new to the DSM community and have been daily driving mine for a few weeks now. Its a 93 TSI with 130k miles. The car had been sitting in a garage for several years before I got a hold of it, so it had to be gone through. Still working a few things out, but its an absolute blast to drive! Especially when we had about five inches of snow on the ground the other day. Im used to Imprezas, but I finally had the oppertunity to purchas my first dream car. Really impressed with how well the car runs and handles considering the year it was produced. Definately ahead of its time. Parts are not too pricy and it is very easy to work on as well! Proud to own and daily drive a DSM!!!!!!

I`ve used a DSM as a daily driver since 1995. Present DD is a `90 laser with 165,000 miles on it.....very reliable.

I dd my 90 awd. Sometimes I wish I had something else to drive because I get tired of the suspension once in awhile. Ive had it for I want to say alnost 3 yrs now. Only real problem Ive had was on my home from Jersey and I blew out a tire. Spent a few long hours sitting along side highway waiting for my buddy to get trailer and come get me. Other then that it always starts and never leaves me stranded. I love it even though its seen better days. I cant imagine life without a dsm.

I dd mine 74 miles round trip everyday for work. I wish I didn't have to as it is showroom condition, but I bought a house and sold my beater. It will be of DD duties for a year while I save up for a truck, hopefully.

I've been trying to DD mine for a year now, but things keep breaking all the time haha
My 2010 golf broke on me 3 weeks ago, so I did an emergency drive shaft rebuild on my talon and been driving it for the last 3 weeks praying it doesn't let me down again....so far so good she's running great makes the 85 km drive one way to work and then back every day. Real test comes in 2 weeks when I make my 16 hour drive to kamloops Bc for christmas, she breaks then its off to the scrapper and a plane ride home.

Used to until I wanted to build it LOL.Sat in the garage eversince then haha
