I got such a quick good answer on my last question why not ask again?

97 spyder 2.4 block with 95 dohc turbo head, gst engine harness and computer, spyder power harness.
All turbo parts swapped over, resistor pack plugged in

Cam and crank sensors plugged in, I have spark.

Fuel pump jumped to run (relay rewire too), so fuel at rail.

I am not getting injector pulse, I assume its part of the same system and reason the pump is not turning on by its self.

Does it have to do with the fuel consumption module the spyders have? Cause that is not plugged in, I do not remember if it was on the engine harness or power, but I see no plug for it anywhere.

Any ideas?

You mean do a code scan? All I have is the elm OBDII bluetooth with torque and an autel md801 scanner.

I am sure it will tell me alot since a bunch of little sensors are not plugged in but I would not think they would have to do with the injectors. Things like fpr solenoid, egr, boost,

Yule resistor pack issue but other then that it's right from the PCM. What are u using to check for a pulse?

If u test lighted the injector harness u just blew the injector driver in the ecm must use a noid light to test injector pulse test lights do not care adequate resistance needed to test that circuit

I actually did not use anything to test it but I can tell no gas is coming out of the injectors. Normally I would use my volt meter though.

So there is nothing else that tells the pcm to fire the injectors? I thought the cam sensor had to do with it.

I'll check the pack out today.

"I am not getting injector pulse, I assume its part of the same system and reason the pump is not turning on by its self."

so when you turn the key there is no fuel pressure ? if iam correct, the fuel pump is triggerd on by the cam sensor? ecu matches engine harness ?

No the pump will not turn on with the key, I did the relay rewire and just jump it for now to get pressure at the rail.

The pump has to come on before the engine turns so I dont see how it could be controller by the cam sensor.

95 gst harness, cylinder head and ecu.

I just checked the resistor pack and its all 6.3, pack is probably only 40 degrees though. should be fine.

Remember that this car was completely apart. So even any grounds or little things are worth mentioning.
Though every ground I see off the harness is on, ground to the intake and big one to the block.

remember this is a '95 so it does not have a CAS, just a stationary sensor on the intake cam gear.
It is also a brand new one cause the old one crumbled.

Thanks though, I'm gonna go try some more stuff.[DOUBLEPOST=1416347168][/DOUBLEPOST]OMG, that thread did help dtdeg. It gave me something to check LOL, the coolant temp sensor plug wasnt in all the way. plugged it in and it sputtered to start. did not let it run though cause no trans fluid.

YAY

thanks

its running now so this may or may not be helpfull but my 95GST the fuel pump does not prime when the key is is turned on. it never has and i have changed ECU's and tons of other stuff chasing down other problems. the fuel pump on my car only pumps when the engine is turning.

some input sensor isnt giving feedback to the engine it is turning and the fuel pump must be triggerd. perhaps you can check with your obd2 scanner which one. nice that topic helped you out, wondering the temp sensor could be the problem also, but looked like it :)
