Ok, I've been wrestling with a problem for about two weeks now. my HVAC system has no power. it's on a 97 Eclipse. Here are the things i've done.

Checked all fuses inside and in Engine compartment
Replaced heater resister
Replaced heater blower relay
Taken blower motor out and tested it. it works.

The only thing I haven't checked is the controls. they are completely dead the AC light doesn't light when you press on it.

Anyone please have a suggestion on what to do next? my next step is a mechanic. bleh!

Ya sounds like your problem is at the controls. You sure no fuses are blown? You tested each one for 12v on both sides to be sure, or the ones connected to hvac stuff? I would check and make sure the harness is plugged in good on the controls and not a loose connection. If still nothing figure out where power comes from and trace it back. I have all the Mitsu manuals if you need help with any of that Just let me know!

I agree you need to check for power on the correct wires right at the control head, get a hold of a wiring diagram of the system so you will know which ones to check. shop manuals are a priceless tool!
