Been driving mine daily for about 20 yrs. Getting a little long in the tooth but so am I. Only major problem I've had with it is the instrument panel went out at about 350k. Right now it's reading 187k. Only problem I forsee is getting parts for it in a few years. Mine is the 92 Ply AWD, hard to find taillights and rear bumper cover.

My '91 tsi is my grocerie getter, 30psi on a 3076 and e85 :hellyeah:

When it's down or i got to ride the bike, sometimes in the rain :(

Man you really like to haul ass to the grocery store eh? Lately it seems these cars are bought just to supe up and race. Nice to find others that just like to go fast every day like its casual.

I found a totally un molested, lady driven 1993 TSI AWD eagle talon at an auction with 133,xxx km's on the car and daily drove that car for about a year and a half with no problems and just bought a 1991 TSI AWD with a 2.3l stroker and a PT3065 Ball bearing turbo for a daily driver.(Amazingly fun car)

I drive mine mostly but right now it's down due to funds after buying bigger turbo and fmic.

Got it all hooked up just need to fix a oil leak.

Then get new motor mounts.. all my rubber inserts are shot

I've been daily driving a mitsubishi for 14-15 years now! Wouldn't have it any other way! I drove and raced my white gst daily up until the motor went :(. Soon as the new one is done I'll be doing it again, and I have the gvr4 and Talon (soon) too now!

There are very few cars I would rather DD... FP red whistling/spooling everywhere, 35psi dumped after WOT, Sweet smell of E85 exhaust... I often find myself turning down/off the radio, even when my favorite songs are on.

I have been daily driving mitsubishis since 1987 and a dsm since 1992. Cheapest transportation in this power league. Ive spent less than 30k on the purchase price of all of these combined sine 1987 and keep in mind I bought a mitsu truck new and my first dsm was 11500 and my latest is a one owner 52k mi 97 2gb talon . Wasnt cheap. Nothing kicks this much ass for this little money. Ill stay in it until I cant get parts then im done.

I drive mine everywhere. I recently took it on a 5,000 mile round trip vacation. I ran it on pump gas until I got to my destination, then I filled up on e85 and beat on it at 500+hp for a week. When it was time to leave I filled it up on pump, and averaged about 31 mpg from Pittsburgh pa to Phoenix az.

I have oddly enough done the exact same thing. Last night actually. The air is below freezing up here and my car loves that cold fresh air. It sounds badass.

I love that I've spent less on all 3 of my cars, Buying them and modding them than a few of my friends sti's. And they still havnt beat my gst 12.4 times LOL!! And they have spent so much more haha and more and more LOL! And now my gvr4 is about to catch them now too LOL! My one friend hates it. He tried so hard this session to beat my times cuz I'm not racing. He knew it was his only shot before I get my cars back on the road. It was epic guys he failed big time!! Lol was way to worried about beating me than having a properly tuned car. It was sad to watch really sad a car probably worth 40-50k who knows maybe more, running high 15's LOL and then he broke a axle and ended his own session LOL. Dsm ftw!!!

I drove my gsx to portland and back with the wife and we had a nice fun cruise. Saw about 40 deer on way back.

Daily drive mine but I put it away for the winter, I do have a beater civic. Still I literally NEVER drive the civic otherwise as I have much ore fun driving the talon, but I'm not willing to fight anymore against the terrors of corrosion/rust with all the salt on our roads through winter. I daily drove it through last winter and kept it at bay but its not worth it + thanks to people not knowing how to drive in winter I ended up with a couple new defects last winter I had to fix this summer. Still will daily drive it again probably come March but its done with DD duty in winter.
Otherwise one thing that makes it so fun to dd is it has the perfect street setup, solid mid 11 sec car on a 16g that still has full interior/stereo/etc, still tons of fun to drive.

I always have a dsm that's some sort of daily. I would daily the fun car all year if it wasn't for the road salt. So I have a "beater" n/a eclipse that is getting daily winter duty.

I've got two that I DD. One in the summer only and one in the winter only, does that count? Both are 2g AWD's. I try to make sure I only wrench on the "off" duty one when the other's "on" duty. Make sense? I hate wrenching on either one when it's supposed to be driving.

Me. I almost DD my GVR4. Driven it to work all week. Hell I drove it out of state last month for a track meet...700 mile round trip. ;) Just a couple days ago....(see attached pic)

My old Talon was my DD for some time. It was the only car I owned for years so DDing was not exactly an option.

We drive the AWD Talon daily, all year. It's a blast in the winter time when all the heavy, bigger production cars are scrambling for traction. Handles great in the snow and pulls through deeper stuff than you would ever imagine. DD is the best way to find the little problems, before they become big problems. The final gear ratio makes this one impractical to drive on a long trip, although we've had it to our surrounding states a couple times.

The Spyder goes into storage for the winter. It would do just fine, but I'm not willing to risk bent roof braces from wet, heavy snow, so into storage it goes.

We're always glad to see another DSM on the road wherever and whenever!

I dd mine at 30 psi and wouldn't have it any other way. I have been stocking up on crash parts just in case.
