While i am not particularly new to the site, i do have a new project to introduce.
I just bought a 97 GST shell that i couldnt pass up.
I traded it for evo 8 enkeis & $250 .
This car will be a daily and a track car. I will race it at ASR in Deming upon completion.
The build so far goes as follows:
•6 bolt block
•2g head
•2g pistons with 1g rods to keep comoression at 8.5:1
•ARP Hardware
•60mm tb
I plan to run a 16g and tune it on e85 once done.
Not getting too crazy with the power im shooting for 350-375. With 400hp being max. Will post pics up later

Sounds like you have a plan laid out for sure do you have a set budget for the build/project? I've always found it west to set a budget and stick to it to accomplish my goals better than to wing it and not have the last couple parts due to frugal spending on something I didn't quite need yet. Thanks and i really dont have a budget laid out. Since i want it to be a daily & a weekend warrior im looking for the parts that best work together. Its not a power hungry build. Once i have it all figured out i will establish a budget. For now the plan is not to exceed $5k. Including cost of the car ($600 )[DOUBLEPOST=1414181282][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm right there with u. My build is basically the same weekend warrior point a-b car. 1g talon. Just buttoning up the newly rebuilt 6bolt. Looking forward to seeing this thing progress
