You should go with the tdo6h turbine if you go with a 58mm compressor wheel or bigger. I also dont like their bullet nuts because they are fatter than the hub of most billet wheels.

Building a "badass" turbo doesnt tell us what you are trying to achieve. What kind of horsepower are you trying to make?

Ideally, I would like to get in the 400-450+whp range on straight pump gas, while retaining a bolt on configuration (if more is possible, great). Ethanol is out of the question as it is simply not available close enough to my house to make it a viable option, although I would LOVE to run it. I am not completely opposed to meth injection, I just get weary of the additional potential failure points that a meth system introduces. (i.e. pump failure causes catastrophic engine failure)

I do know that 400whp is out of the range that my current e316g can make on pump gas. I would estimate I am in the low 300 ish range now, and am not really comfortable pushing it much harder without risking serious knock implications.

I have no problem running a standard style nut, I just know I would need a shaft nut to complete the build. What would you recommend?

I run the Kinugawa TD06 3" compressor cover with their billet 60-1 wheel, MHI center section and a TD06H 11 blade in a Mitsubishi 7cm housing, EWG. Guess this would be pretty close to the old fp red, except it had a clipped 12 blade TD06H turbine. I used the Kinugawa rebuild kit with upgraded thrust parts. There is also a 9 blade wheel but I didn't want to spend the extra hundred dollars.

I had to order the compressor kit with billet wheel directly from Kinugawa as they didn't have any listed on ebay. A wonderful surprise was that the 60-1 billet wheel is lighter then my cast Garrett T04E50 trim wheel I had on a Green.

Any numbers on the billet 60-1 set up?
