Been awhile sense I've been on here been fixing stupid things on my car but to get to the point. I am adding a few things to my car and fixing other electrical problems. I have been searching and searching for this connector and can't seem to find it, besides the picture. It's a two terminal connector in a T shape is common everywhere on the car. I don't really want to just go pull some off another car trying to make sure everything is up to my standers on this new harness.

Where do you guys get your pigtails and connectors?

Looking for this one.

I've been looking into Packard 56 connectors to try to replace the coolant temp pigtail similar to what you have shown. I have a bag of them, just haven't put them together to test. Try here

I use spade connectors for accessory stuff where I can. But I don't crimp them on. I pull of the little cheap plastic covers, put on some heat shrink wrap, crimp them on, solder them on there , then cover it with heat shrink. Got my soldering gun at home depot for like 35 bucks. It's a Weller soldering gun, and I always use rosin core solder.

For the original poster, I think the ones you are looking at on various sections of the car are either the DSD, or an Amp/Tyco connector. The DSD ones are 2 piece, with a locking retainer on the back. The one in your pic is compatible to the DSD. The Tyco/Amp connector is the one used on the 1G coolant temp sensor.

Some of those should work, even if though they aren't the exact same connector as what was on the DSM. Packard 56 is older stuff, used on cars from the 60s and 70s.

The 1G coolant temp connector is also on the same page that 19Eclipse90 posted above.

I use what i can i even made cas connector from my tps connector its always nice to grab them when you can at a yard, other than that i had to get to them from jnz tuning.

If I recall correctly, and brads can certainly correct me if I'm wrong, that Amp/Tyco connector is used for at least some of the connectors to the 1G speakers. These are typically still pretty fresh, relatively speaking, and very easy to salvage when compared to those connectors that see repeated heat cycling in the engine bay.

know this post is old but I found a suitable replacement for the engine twin pin coolant temp sensor on ebay, just thought I'd share a link here

That looks like a partial match for the DSD connectors like on the boost solenoid etc. The latch may not work right though, as it isn't an exact match for those connectors.

If you try to use that as an ECT connector, the latch definitely won't work because it isn't there. The correct ECT connector for the 1G has a latch that locks in to the hole on the terminal. The place posted above sells the correct AMP brand connector for $5. I think JNZ may have them as well.
