Reviver, I have 2 coils. Both worked when I bought new ones. They weren't the issue I was having.

Well fella's i have hit the point in my build where it starts to nickel and dime you to death. I found the biss screw leaking and of course it was so jacked up to the point to where i had to drill and ease it out. I bought a new set of plug wires and when i went to install them they weren't the right ones(thanks bumper to bumper). I believe it to be a packaging error from the factory cause they wouldn't even fit my engine and the part number was right. I shouldn't have sold you the spare TB i had Styxyr.

I've still got the throttle bodies if you need either? I'm in beebe almost everyday the last few weeks

Its cool. I ordered a new biss screw and put a new o-ring on my old one for now. I installed a screw to the biss in order to be able to adjust and remove it once my new one comes in. I also got my new ac delco plug wires from bumper to bumper today and they were the right ones but one of the insulators on the bottom were missing. I hated to do it but I returned them and put another set on order from Autozone and should be picking them up tomorrow morning. Hopefully i will hear start or attempt to start tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!!!!!

Im off to Mass tomorrow! Been nice chilling here with yall. Ill stop by and see whats up now and again!

Heh Chad, one of these days I am going to come by the Hut and show you my faded '92, and maybe let you drive it. Something is out of whack with this car, and we can't figure out what it is. We swapped the transfer cases yesterday and proved that the transfer case is not the source of the bad behavior.
I am replying to my own post here from several months ago. Have not been able to figure out what is wrong with the front drive on the '92 Laser AWD turbo. Maybe it is good news that it seems to be getting worse. It bucks and pops like crazy now when you maneuver it out of a parking place or turn at a stoplight. Still seems to straighten out and run well enough on the road, but have not driven it much this year. I read about problems with ball joints on different threads here, my tech says there is no play in the front end to indicate ball joint wear.

Sounds like cv axles to me too. Go to a parking lot and cut the wheel all the way one way and slowly move forward. If it keeps popping it's the axles

So what ever happened with Blakes' ole' GSX?

I have some things for sale that I'm tired of looking at. The 2g is crushed.

I have a nice valve cover red lettering still intact, 2 strut tower bars.1 Megan test pipe, and a injen "CAI" with maf and a pacesetter style header with shotty t-25 turbo still attached.

there are all best offer. I just want them gone. Started my career as a paramedic and finishing up my degree this year, the bike will satisfy my performance needs to now, I may get another one later, only time will tell[DOUBLEPOST=1409513728][/DOUBLEPOST]free set of head lights if you by it all

How'd she run?? Well I'll probably be parting and selling my car off here soon. Try to sell as a whole first, then go to parting. I have a ton of go fast goodies as well. Still not 100% on it yet though. Just don't have the time to put into it right now. I'll be getting an evo if so, though.

She runs good i think. it did 11.1 at centervill at 13 psi so not bad. i then crank it to 15 and snapped my axle an half at the starting line on the next run LOL. Drove it home in 3 wheel drive modeLOL i think i could of gotten in 10 easily[DOUBLEPOST=1411163801][/DOUBLEPOST]

Its going great! Just suffering from some high oil pressure. I drove the car once before removing the motor to replace the flywheel bolts. I went ahead and threw some brand new ACL Race bearings in while the motor was out. Ever sense then, I have oil pressure at about 80 cold and 20 warm. At WOT (i've replaced everything motor wise, like seals and fuel lines all that good stuff) while tuning I get oil pressure of about 110PSI. I was going to port the housing but it seems you already did. Not sure what to do next. I've measured the crank and bought the bearings accordingly. I did lots of research before doing so. Any ideas? Maybe cut the spring a little or washers on the bolt attached to the OFH? What was the oil pressure at when you had it?[DOUBLEPOST=1412410791][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm still looking for those back seats guys :D

Cold idle was about 60psi, warm idle around 15-20, cruise was around 40, never went wot on that build. The ofh is ported as much as I felt safe, didn't want to go more. I only put around 15-20 miles on that engine, so I figured oil pressure would settle down a bit. Did you check clearances on the bearings? With the clevite bearings it was in spec, usually acl bearings run a little looser so it doesn't make sense it would raise going to them. I always plastigauge the bearings, just because they should be the right ones doesn't mean they are. If they are in spec I would start by taking half a coil of the ofh spring and try again. Remove in small increments until it's where u want it. That high of pressure at wot will probably start pushing seals.

Yeah I used the ones you smash on the crank with the bearings to measure clearance. I had help from my uncle that has be rebuilding motors for a while now. The car pulls beautifully though, little rich 10.5 but stopped tuning because of the OIL pressure issue. I haven't driven it in about 2 months. I had to order the OFH gasket from ExtremePSI because the part stores doesn't carry them. I'll find out tomorrow if the spring fixes anything. Thanks for the info though. Is there anything else done to the car that isn't listed in the copy and pasted mods list in my profile LOL.[DOUBLEPOST=1412570376][/DOUBLEPOST]Well done on the build btw. Nicely done. I've been taking very good care of the car. If you were wondering :D

Glad to hear she's in good hands. I believe ur mod list sums it up, the o2 housing is a punishment racing and waste gate is from pte. I put so much in it can't really name it all off the top of my head. Lol. Hope you enjoy, I lost interest before ever having fun with it. I'm now restoring a 68 Camaro, just picked up a 396 big block for it. I get on here from time to time checking in on everyone, this page has died down a lot. Oh yea, that engine is out of a 97, if you were wondering about the 2gb cas.
