does any one here, ever own a oil relocation kit ? if so, what brand?

i am looking for greddy,

just greddy because i really like that company and i want every part as much as i can from greddy. so, i seem can't to find a greddy oil relocation kit, i do not want to put oil cooler in yet. i just want to relocate my oil filter so that later on if my oil pressure is high then i can get oil cooler no problem. i just need to know where i can find the greddy oil relocation kit :( iv been looking everywhere and most greddy parts has 4 port, i just need 2. and i can't find any :( please don't tell me greddy doesnt sell 2 port my god.

First off, why are you wanting to relocate the oil filter? That is very uncommon with these cars. Second, just give it some time with replies, i know that you can get frustrated, but there are many many other threads for people to reply to other than yours.

Have you considered an evo oil filter housing? They have 2 ports for an oil cooler. I run a Forward facing oil filter housing and oil pressure is low enough to run my holset with a -4an line from the housing with no restrictor.

I just want to say a few things.

Greedy is not that good. Over priced for mediocre parts. Also adding an oil cooler will not reduce your oil pressure. There is no reason to do a oil filter relocation unless it is in the way and even then a forward facing ofh would solve most peoples problems for clearance

Agreed about greddy being over priced and mediocre. After having some greddy parts fail on me I have rid my car and garage of greddy. As for relocating as others have said ita not needed. You could get a fwd facing oil filter housing and use your run of the mill sandwich adaptor.

because so it is easier for me to change oil, and it looks nice in the engine bay, and yes, i do get frustrated, sorry about that. but it been daaaayyys LOL. i am impatient, and have to control it. sorry about that,[DOUBLEPOST=1410405240][/DOUBLEPOST]

yes it won't cool my oil pressure but it will IF my oil pressure is high, right now, i don't know if its high or not, but i would like to get 2 port oil filter for now and get oil pressure gauge. and really ? i keep hearing greddy is the great company because of the quality. and i like it for some reason, they are dope. that's in my opinion of course. and to be honest, i just want it for easier oil change and looks in engine bay, with the sick braided hose connected. LOL. :$[DOUBLEPOST=1410405351][/DOUBLEPOST]

do you have the link for that? it would be helpful. but again, i don't want it to the oil cooler, i want it from the engine to the oil filter. ill worry about oil cooler later if my oil pressure is running high,

Like stated before, the cooler doesn't have much to do with running high on oil pressure. Did you mean high oil temp? No offense but it's hard understanding what exactly you want. The forward facing filter housing doesn't have an internal cooler for coolant but it does allow you to have more space for different/bigger downpipe options. Here's a few links.google is your friend.

How is it easier to change your oil? You still have to open the drain plug by where the oil filter is normally located and you can drain them both into the same container. The oil filter relocation is going to add several more place that have the potential to leak and possibly damage your engine , its not worth it just for looks. But if that's what you want I think this is the one your looking for- GReddy 12004901 Oil Filter Relocation Universal Kit. Or you could get this for 1/4 the price of the greddy and it has fittings on the hoses instead of hose clamps. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/trd-1158/overview/

check out this link. that's exactly how it is, and thanks for the link, i appreciate it.

So you want to relocate the drain too?

debating. but honestly, having the oil filter on top of the engine bay looks nice, in my opinion. im that kind of guy who likes to make the car looks really nice and clean instead of putting shit load of money into horsepower and take it to drag race, LOL.[DOUBLEPOST=1410541439][/DOUBLEPOST]
What do you feel constitutes "high" oil temp and specifically, what oil are you running? (Brand/weight)

right now i do not know yet, i just bought the car with engine blown, so i am rebuilding atm, so while the engine is out, im going to get everything done to where i want it to be, new paint, new carpet, new seats, new rods, piston rings, you name it, im going to replace everything, so i don't want to get it to work then put it in, then start driving and buy parts as i drive. its easier while the engine is out. so i don't know yet. but i know for sure i am going to be using synthetic 5w30 i think that's the one,[DOUBLEPOST=1410543300][/DOUBLEPOST]

Evo8 filter housing would be the one that you would want. It will keep the filter close to the stock location and has the threaded holes to use an oil cooler. I am not sure how having your oil filter on top of the engine looks good or makes it easier to change the oil. You are just over complicating the oiling system by doing this. I would spend the money elsewhere if i were you. I am not sure that you can make it any easier to change the oil than it would be with this oil filter housing.

LOL, i see some cars that have oil filter at the top of the engine bay with braided hoses with nice connectors, it looks really nice, so i thought i could do the same. but again, i am still debating as i am rebuilding my engine, so maybe id change my mind after all. LOL and thanks for the tip. appreciate it.
