Who else is having a great Craigslist week?

Sorry, I have no car friends....
so far this week I've purchased the following off Craigslist for $400
carbon fiber hood, in really good shape
evo 8 injectors and fuel pump
cluster gage pod
turbo Xs boost controller
electric oil pressure gage
and my favorite
old school clear taillights
The taillights alone make my year, I've only seen one set in person since I got rid of mine in 99 from getting pulled over so much, I'm hoping bulbs are bright enough now I don't need to worry. I'm considering the electric perrin boost controller for $75 now. Anyone else having a good Craigslist week?

I could say so LOL

2 weeks ago got my 91 tsi with built motor for 2000$ has almost 10,000 in the motor

and now I need a diner car for a lot of other parts and I'm getting a running 90 get 4g63 black talon looks identical but its fwd and an auto for bout 1000 clean body too I like to think I'm having a good week hopefully

That sounds lIke a great week. I recently bought a 1g for 500 bucks. Came with a whole hx35 setup, aluminum rad, silicone hoses, rebuilt motor, some fancy tranny, and unused Megan racing coilovers!

I just picked up a bone stock 97 tsi awd for $2500. Tranny rebuilt 600 mi ago. Got it impounded on the way home for no registration! Thank god they didn't catch me doing 120 on I95.

They don't give you a leeway for getting a car home after you just bought it? That's crazy! I would be more than pissed. I would have shown my bill of sale/title and tell them that you have to get it home to go though it before you could get it inspected.

I would if I were close. I have no luck getting responses back from people on craigslist around where I am.

I've been pulled over twice while driving a car home from buying it, cop was super cool and congratulated me.

Yeah I was in some tiny village in pennsyltucky. They wouldn't even let me just park the car at the restaurant I pulled into. Got it out of jail today n alls well. I've wanted this car since they came out. Now I can afford it haha. Was planning on spending 3k anyway. However, I have to get her inspected in pa and she won't pass emissions due to a gaping hole in the exhaust. I'm just gonna buy a cheap catback off eBay.

Picked up a nice set/no curb rash of 5zigen fn01r-c with sumitomo 275/40 tires for 500.
These are getting harder to find but fit my evo nicely and are pretty light.

No car parts. But did score some surly brewing growlers (5). Got them for 25.00. The growlers have become super rare surly could not sell growlers after 2008. I sold many of my extras over the years for good money. So far I put them back up on Craig's list and sold 3 of them for 40.00 each under the right area.

Just scored deal of the year!! 91 turbo fwd auto was gonna use fr parts fr my tsi.. Didn't run right leaked gas bought fr 150 with partial trade for tires.... So I bought 3 dollar alt fuse and 5 dollar peice of fuel line started car runs fine!! Was a part car might just be a daily driver now LOL

guy was a little upset I fixed it in his drie way after he couldn't figure out what was wrong LOL

I said sorry man and drive off in te sunset LOL
