Has anyone ever experienced a leaky oil pan on a 7 bolt? If so any ways of fixing the issue? I was leaking so bad I had to pull the motor... I hammered out the edges to make sure it is flush I bought "mitsu-bond" to seal it to no avail... Before i buy a $245 pan any ideas?

Where is it leaking? Timing side, trans side. The most common place is where the oil pump dips and has a curve in the pan. There is a gasket you can buy, its a cork type and im using it now and have done for a few years, in not leaking from the pan. You can use that and RTV to secure it aswell.

You gotta make sure you put enough around the bolt holes as they leak alot. And dont over tighten it either.

I got my gasket from jnztuning

by accident i ran a cork gasket it came.with the top line gasket kit.. it leaked then i ran mitsubond and new oem mitsubishi oil pump gasket. it dose leak by tue hump on the oil pan and by the drain flange

The drain flange is another issue then as thats just a bolt that need a crush washer and for the pan it must be bent then. Thats the only other reason for it to leak and thats normally caused by knocking it on a curb or ground or over tightning bolts and pulling it to one side. Ive seen both happen. You will have to take it off check it with a rule for straight edge just to confirm and go from there. You may be able to tweet it to sit better off the engine.

Yeah I did spend my day on a flat surface with a hammer and seemed to get it back in line.... Also noting I found the front balance shaft plug was not in right the machine shop just slightly tapped it in... I ran rtv around it and drove it in. Here is to no oil.leaks!
