I have a 98 gst automatic.
Thinking about a 5 speed swap. It is a 6 bolt swap already. So what do I need to swap it and is there a write up anywhere? I have already pulled this transmission and replaced it so I should be able to do the swap.

There's a lot of work involved in the swap, I've seen a few people on here that have done it, but it's definitely an awesome project, good luck with it!

I did mine (gsx) in 1 day. Worst part is aquiring all the parts and making sure they work if used. I actually bought a whole car for parts. Hardest part was cutting the holes. Cut it a little smaller and smooth it to size with a dremel.

It's not that bad, I did my manual swap while doing my AWD swap on my spyder. I was able to fit a hole saw under the dash and got clean holes for the master. I have a thread on here look under my profile and you'll find it. Get the stainless line stock would be a nightmare to route, make sure your parts are all good. It shouldn't take longer then a day or two if you have all parts on hand ready to go.
