So I had this problem for two weeks already, the engine seem to missfire or else...

When going on full throttle, over +/- 20 psi, it just knock pretty bad
However, it ain't coming from the engine itself, more like from the ignition

I replaced my spark plugs and my wires, which were upgraded ones, and it helped a lot, reduced the "knock" by half

However, it became worst after a couple of days
The car idle perfectly, is it the coil pack getting tired or is it me way too far from the problem?

Waiting for your answers!
Thanks

You have the right plugs looks like according to your build sheet. Any way can post up a data log of some WOT pulls in 3rd or 4th? Since u have the link? More times than none a coil pack, in my experience, will just stop working all to together. U can test them with a voltage tester just to make sure. If your running upwards of 20+ psi on pump gas 91 or 93 you are going to run in knock issues regardless. Switching to E85 will allow more boost, and u can always look into meth injection too. But that's another subject for another time. Best thing to do is post a data log. For now I would back off the boost till u know for sure what's going on :idontknow:

I will post logs for sure in a couple of hours
I am actually running a 91 octane tune on a Holley 255lph Fuel Pump
Because gas stations don't sell 93 and e85 in my area, this is my only option for now ^^

Also, the tune that I'm running right now looks weird (Around 17.5 of A/F ratio?)
I'll post it if that could help =S

I'm in the same boat here in AZ. No one has anything other than 91 so that really limits us. Here is What I shoot for with all my research on AFRs but each car is going to be different. At idle when it's cold I'll see around 12.0 to 13.0..... 14.7 is "stoich" so that's what u want when your cruising under little to no load. You will see the gauge bounce all over during deceleration even read 22.4 but that's because your injectors are running such a small duty cycle. Under ANY amount of boost u want to see lower than 14.7. At WOT u want too see from 10.7 to 11.2 then you are well within the safe zone. But if your seeing 17.5 under load or boost that's not good at all! Back away immediately captain she's gona blow. I am in no way a DSM tuning Jedi, but I'm constantly making adjustments with my fuel controller I'm not running link:cry:[DOUBLEPOST=1408769977][/DOUBLEPOST]At operating temp my talon Will idle anywhere from 16 to 19. But I also have a fried IAC motor so its got some idle surge going too. When I first start it up on a cold morning I'll see 11's to 12's, and it will slowly get leaner as it warms up to temp

Try some non-projected spark plugs gapped at .24. You could be getting spark blowout at higher boost levels. Your AFR's should be around 10.3-10.8 at WOT running only 91 octane.

I uploaded a datalog for whoever is curious seeing it

I will look for these kind of spark plugs for sure

And the fuel pump / filter had been replaced around summer 2006/2007 @ 70k miles. Now it's at 87k

I will definitely look into that
It could be possible, this morning the car was having a bad time and this afternoon it could handle full boost without any problem or so

I didn't have a second to take a look at it unfortunately
However, I prayed coil insulator stuff to the coil itself just in case. Without luck :/
I will take apart that fuel filter soon, I'll let you know what's new!

(I saw that it loses fuel pressure after I shut off the car and it's smelling fuel in the engine bay, could it be a leak in the regulator causing this?)

Finally change the filter ! Twice ! (The first one was leaking like crazy :/ )

Results? Not any better...
I will borrow a COP system from someone next weekend to see if it makes any difference

You can definitely spring a leak under WOT fuel pressures. At idle/cruise the leak may not present itself as much but when the pressure is up to ~65+psi in the fuel lines leaks can happen causing a lean condition.
Most certainly never ever go into any boost with an afr of 17.5! That can be instant destruction/melting. Gap the plugs down to around .020, test the afpr, plug wires, coils etc..
Also while you're at it, do a compression test. I know from personal experience how well an engine can sound and drive up until a certain amount of boost when i was missing on a cylinder. Turned out to be a real bad situation. Probably not your case though.

The car had been tuned like that for several years, even went on the drag strip running 12's on race gas I think (From what the previous owner said) and it never broke down =S

For the afr, I'm just looking at what dsm link is giving me, I don't have a wideband...

Like I said, I changed the wires and the spark plugs to iridium ones and it did a good difference even if it wasn't perfect

I did a compression test and scored 180 on all fours!
