So i was getting the no boost at all thing. BEFORE anyone says anything no boostleak. so i have a stock wastegate i took it off. Should i be able to manually move the rod with my hand in and out or no. i dont see a hole or anything to try and test it with pressure like i see online with wastegate test. so did the nozzle for that break off or something. once again it is stock wastegate.

also anyone know where i can get a cheap replacement for the moment. i know you get what you pay for yes. but just for now. any help be much appreciated.

thanks will do question can i use any wastegate for dsms or turbo applications or have to be specially for an 1g

Take a picture before you go buying new parts. Any MHI wastegate "should" work although sometimes some shimming is necessary. Try to do some junk yard shopping.

You don't have the nipple on the wastegate actuator?

your right moeny is tight lately. but let me best sure so there is supposed to be a nipple on the stock wastegate because mine has a hole but no nipple.[DOUBLEPOST=1408942033][/DOUBLEPOST]Here's pic of it[DOUBLEPOST=1408942071][/DOUBLEPOST]Well I certainly found my problem thanks guys[DOUBLEPOST=1408943070][/DOUBLEPOST]Now I have more questions how would I do a external wastegate with no actuator or rod. I read weld it shut or something but not trying to do all that so think I'll stick with actuator

If money is tight, youre better off ordering an internal WG from the classified or one of our supporting vendors. A new external WG is expensive, along with a new manifold or O2 housing (depending on your preference), and routing a dump tube for the WG. Youre talking like 20$ vs 400ish.
