Installed a 6 bolt in my 95 GSX using the cas adapter harness to the 95/96 cam and crank sensor plugs, Car starts and idles very rough and has no vacuum... Cant figure out the Firing order and I set the cas properly base timing is around 5 DEG, Im using a 2G coil pack and 95 ECU with link.

Someone help me out ive read and read.[DOUBLEPOST=1407816694][/DOUBLEPOST]Using ecmtunings recommended firing order for non 95/96 cas with 95 ecu, I'm using a 1G green top cas with 6 bolt head, cas is Rotated so it's NOT 180 out... All plugs are black and car is misfiring.[DOUBLEPOST=1407846565][/DOUBLEPOST]Using this harness to the 1G cas from cam and crank sensor plugs off harness.

Im using 3241 firing order, the gas pedal is extremely unresponsive and at times it revs to whatever it wants, All the plugs are black and its running pig rich. Also making some strange compressor surge noise heard through the intake filter. Has no vacuum at idle, I've tried different mafs different cas, the tps and coil pack came off a perfectly running car.

-On the valve cover is 4-3-2-1 as you are looking at them from the front, on the coil is 4-1-2-3 as you're looking at them from the driver side fender.

That's a quote from turboholic

Go here: http://magnusmotorsports.com/tech-articles/
and download the 1g in a 2g PDF. That'll give you your firing order swap for the 95-96 models on page 5.
I've read all that a few times, plus it only talks about 2g head firing order.[DOUBLEPOST=1407900360][/DOUBLEPOST]

The Car will not even crank on 4-1-2-3, it actually hangs it It up...with fuel I'm guessing.

My normal tune that ran perfect on my 7 bolt, obviously I haven't been able to dial I'm my idle tune because it barely runs and clearly has a spark/ timing issue, I have the use non 95/96 cam sensor box checked but it doesn't change a thing whether its checked or not... Not even while its attempting to idle it doesn't phase it.

What plug order were you using when you did that test?

My firing order is exactly how it shows in the picture I posted its not that hard to interpret, Im lost with this car guess I should have just built a 7 bolt I could have been driving it days ago.

It will crank for a sec then shut back off when cold but if you manually warm it up it will stay running and at times all idle at 2-3K all over the place still misfiring and fouling plugs, super rich, throttle does what it wants etc. Driving it around my yard in first gear if you let off the gas it accelerates for a sec? :banghead:WTF

If you think about it, theres really only 4 possible options for your plug wiring.

Leave 1 and 4, Leave 2 and 3; test for start
Swap 1 and 4, Leave 2 and 3; test for start
Swap 1 and 4, Swap 2 and 3; test for start
Leave 1 and 4, Swap 2 and 3; test for start

If one of those 4 scenarios doesnt result in a roughly decent idle, then something else is wrong. Wasnt there a box to check to invert firing order or something on ecmlink (sorry, not too familiar with it yet)?

He said he left it unchecked, which is what he is suppose to do. But didn't do anything *shrugs*
