I was trying to get the bumpers made but there wasn't enough interestHow about brand new Talon bumpers? Then I'd have my wish, plus have a reason to buy your lip kit as well.

the problems areI have found in the two years I have been SERIOUSLY looking, that they are either at price comparable to a 1/4oz of gold, or they have seen six thousand too many curbs in their day, and they still want a couple bills for it... broken tabs, cracks, deep scrapes, cut for some intercooler you don't own. Its been sad on my end for a while.
A nice quality replica minus the talon badge location, $200-$250 all day for me. Maybe more depending on the material and quality of a tested unit from an outside proprietor from the oem model.
I know its a ton of work, but quality oem bumpers arr getting scarce, and the guys that have them can't predict when something will happen to their pristine piece of oem sexyness. Then they will be in my boat... is the huge premium for a 17 year old bumper worth it? Or the $75 2gb eclipse bumper? Or, a realistic new bumper price of a couple hundred bucks?
Ready to put a deposit down, as soon as I see a prototype pic of itHow many people would Actually be willing to put a deposit?
You can still buy OEM front Talon bumpers from places like JNZ. They're not cheap, but they are authentic OEM and will almost certainly fit better than any aftermarket fiberglass piece. How about brand new Talon bumpers? Then I'd have my wish, plus have a reason to buy your lip kit as well.
I think you'll have to post a rendering of what it would look like before you get a good sampling of who would buy one.How many people would Actually be willing to put a deposit?
It's $426 without shipping. Assuming a comparable fiberglass version comes unpainted and shipping costs are the same you stand to save a couple hundred bucks, but they usually always require some finishing work to make fit right. So if you have to pay a body shop to finish it and install it (which the place you buy it from will likely suggest) you might be up in that price range anyway. For $600 unpainted, I think ill play the waiting game. I'd have to take out a second insurance policy on that bumper alone if it were on my car, since it would be worth just as much as the rest of it.
Totally understandable. It's tough prioritizing purchases, and it sucks seeing the OEM parts getting harder to find.Yeah, I figured all that I knew it wasn't a viable option. I just initially threw it out there as a joke for those who dont have a talon bumper, but want an affordable one... and then we could also purchase this unseen product for a cool lip. I was just threw out $600 because it says minimum shipping is $125, but most likely more.
Its all good, not being a cheap azz about it. I'd just rather spend that kind of money on link and wait for a better deal on a used talon cover down the road.
I wouldn't want a fiberglass bumper anyhow. Even if I drove it perfectly, here in utah it would be destroyed in a year, guaranteed.
