We only stopped because my wife's aunty lived there and it was the last time we got to see her before she passed! I don't gamble or party LOL but was my first time really getting to stop there so was fun LOL! Grand Canyon and driving down to Sedona was my favorite places on the way! Lots of cool pics of the gst and cool backgrounds LOL!

Sounds like everybody has touched on about everything so with that being said, have a safe trip man! But seriously though..... Red bull and jerky LOL!

I've driven my 99gst to new York and back. 1500 miles on it no problems. And I wish I was at 80,000. I'm sitting on 190,000 miles LOL as suggested change all fluids and bring a few tools and a spare tire. You should be fine.

You are a brave person! My DSM has issues getting across town, let alone across the country.... Good luck bud!

For future endeavors, a blanket is a must, in the off chance you have to spend a night in your car.

I hope your route doesn't take you 10 the entire way to the east coast if you're heading south first. Be prepared for the most boring interstate in the country through Texas and the entire Florida panhandle. Good luck!

Yes a blanket was brought along. It came in use as a pillow more than a blanket.
We are taking 10, but we have quite a few detours along the way to see things. Well I think we are going 10 anyway. Right now in San francisco with no problems!

Okay finally made it to Jacksonville fl! Only had one thing break on the trip, the support (I think) under the driver side window buttons. The buttons work but fall down into the pocket a little bit. I'll need to give it a look soon. Other than that the car made it just fine.
@Morecowbell we actually didn't end up going on 10 until the very end of the trip, so it wasn't that bad @UrbanSmoker. Kyle, my wife now agrees that next time, we will ship the car LOL. I'll keep that info you gave me for next year when I move back. Thanks again

Why does the wife say to ship it next time? What was so bad about doing a cross-country drive?

@AWDPetmitsu She didn't like sitting on the seats for 65 hours LOL. The seats aren't very comfy so next time we make a drive like that she will have an extra cushion. Also, she agrees that it is better for the car if we can just ship it and put the miles on the Uhaul instead.
