I have heard rx8 seats fit well in 2g eclipse and I can find a pair for less then $300, u might want to look into that.

I don't care for the cheap seats much just because they are made in china with cheap materials and that's what I'm going to be sitting in. I don't plan on ever wrecking my car but if I do I don't want to rely on cheap seats to save my life. Look up on you tube, image search, or something showing the inner structure of the different seats. Then you'll see what I'm saying. Now the outside of them I think they look fine and the cheap price is attractive but If you save just a bit more you can have nice seats you feel safe in instead of good enough. Just my opinion.
I've had recaros, stock seats, and cheapy "race" seats apart and the difference in the metal structure convinced me to only go with stock or reputable name brand aftermarket.
I would look to maybe to a newer eclipse seat. You can find a bunch of threads on other cars stock seats in a dsm. Make a list of one's you like then look them up on web, salvage yard shopping, craigslist, etc.
The thing with any of these seats is you will have to make or buy brackets to get them to fit. So keep in mind you will have to buy more than just the seats unless you can fabricate brackets yourself.

I just watched a episode of BBC Top Gear where they talk about how fast the chinese does impact test on their car crash study's...Guess how fast?!.. 60mph?50?30?10? Nope, I was told 6MPH... I dont know if Jeremy was just talking shit but i wouldn't chance it either.

i went with NRG they look nice and ride great no sore ass.

I got a used set of Cypher seats with brackets for 400 off the classified section. They were much nicer than the fake brides I got a few years ago
