Hey I was running a greddy bov on my 7 bolt setup. Did a 6 bolt swap. But now the rubber recirculation tube for bov to intake doesn't bend in the right directions.

Is it possible to remold this rubber piece to bend in the right directions? I have heard that you can out them in the oven and do this, but haven't been able to find any info on this.

Rubber is vulcanized and not really meant to re-heat and remold.
Its ok to create something from parts like coolant hose from you local autoparts store. (something meant to take the heat of under a hood). I've done this many times. You just need to route to and from the same places, ensure everything is sealed. Avoid PVC as this will melt.

+2 Wes

Especially for those 1g guys going with a 2g maf and intake pipe. The 1g recirc port is down near compressor housing. On the 2g pipe its up near the maf itself. If you get the 2g maf setup with recirc rubber tube, the stock rubber tube might not work then either. So Cut an old vaccume hose,I do mean vaccume(hoover/ Kirby ETC).You may need to cut slits on the new hose in order to slip it on your bov, recirc port on the intake pipe.

I tried looking for that hose and never got lucky. So i found an alternative that works very well. Its very flexible and durable and did i mention its CHEAP.

Dryer hose from Home Depot, in your local appliance isle.

Hope this helps you in your quest to VICTORY!!!!

Looks fantastic. Just keep an eye on it as it may not be resistant to high temps. Remeber your turbo and exhaust are a few inches away, and 900°c. I guess if its holding up your ok, LOL.
