Whats up everyone,
Bought the Molly, (97 GSX Non-LSD) from an acquaintance last Oct, joined Tuners around that time as well. The rear diff took a shit within hours of buying it, the guy was cool and copped for a new one. After replacing the rear diff and lubing everything up properly, I began working on all the other shit that made it not run quite right. There were huge boost leaks all over the place. The only good thing was that the Timing belt had been done recently with an Evo Kevlar belt. replaced tons of suspension parts, tie rods etc... My goal for the car is 450-500 streetable HP retaining the PS and Restoring the AC. The belt was cut, the system is intact but the bearings on the AC clutch are going out, and the sound it makes is worse than the heat.
This is my toy, I DD a 2013 WRX and have owned a 2011 Mazdaspeed3, this is my first Mitsu and so far I love it.
I am very appreciative of the help I have gotten on Tuners so far and hope to be able to contribute soon. I come from mazdaspeedforums.org so I am no stranger to forum hazing. I plan on donating to get access to the hangout and chatbox soon.
