I'm looking for a project tuner car. I was wondering what your guys opinion of a 2nd gen GST is. Thanks!

If you know you'll want AWD, you're ahead to start out with it. You'll spend a few hundred more to buy an AWD compared to a FWD in the same condition, but you won't have to find/buy an AWD drivetrain and do the extra work later on. Yes, you can possibly sell the FWD trans to re-coup some money spent, but not many people want them so you can expect to really take a hit on the price you'll get for it, especially if you're not selling it with a LSD installed. On the flip side, finding an unmolested AWD is virtually impossible.

FWDs can be fun, but once you surpass about 275whp, the torque steer and lack of traction with street tires gets old real quick. Any turbo larger than the stock T25 can get you to 275+. Stock fuel system can safely get you to about 300 on a 2G GST, slightly less on an AWD.
