Aftermarket Mods:
"16g Turbo, 16g Oil Lines, 16g Headers, 16g J-Pipe, 255 Fuel Pump, Plugs NKG Bpr7es , and they are gaped At .28 Fuel Pressure Regulator w/ Gauge, Fuel set at 43psi, Intake Cone, BOV,and my BOV is recirculated, Inter cooler, 02 Housing Dump, Wideband, 3" Catback. "I DO OWN DSMLINK V3"

Stock:
Injectors 450cc, Rear 02 Sensor, Downpipe, BCS, Wires etc.

Issues:
Car lags horrible, stomp the gas don't wanna move until it reaches around 30-40mph, and then Turbo Spools/Whistles, and then it seems like the car wants to act right..Until it reaches around 95-100mph,and then it starts to jerk etc. But it doesn't shut off, nor does it feel like I'm hitting a brick wall. :ohdamn:

Other:
Sometimes when putting the car in drive, or reverse it'll stall, or want to stall. "When it does stall, it fires right back up" Help anyone?
What all others have been done. Just so y'all know exactly what has been done etc.:
Engine rebuilt, which of course all seals etc. replaced. Water pump, oil pump, radiator, alternator, starter, battery, oil/tranny/coolant change. But Trany wasn't ever rebuilt.
Vacuum Rout:
I have a vacuum line ran from the "wastegate T'd off into the J-pipe" and that vacuum line runs into my "bcs" the button port.

I then ran a vacuum line running from the Intake, which "is the nipple I added" and it runs into my "bcs" top port.

Update:
I checked for shaft play on my Turbo, no play at all, nor movement. Going to order 3" Full Exhaust, Manual Boost Controller, either 650-750cc Injectors, and I made the Turbo Test Pipe etc., will do that when I'm around the car again. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I'M MISSING I NEED? OTHER THAN A TUNE?! Thanks

My wastegate was so loose, the flange was stuck wide open. I made it tighter, about an inch apart, but the flange piece is now closed. It'll whistle/spool around 1-3rpm now "about 10-15mph" but still lacking power etc. But I hooked up DSMLink, and smashed the pedal to the floor and it's only going to 46% Throttle response. But when I manually do it from under the hood it's giving me 100% Throttle response like nothing..... Cable too long? :/ Wth is going on

Alright, thanks. Well for the next couple days/week I'm wait on these products to come. I'm also going to do a boost leak test Wed.,or Thur., and run DSMlink again. I'll be back whenever I get that all done/figured out! If it's not a boost leak, then I'm pretty well f**ked, huh?:beatentodeath:

To check your 02 you take it out still connected to the wideband gauge. Then you get a rag and spray brake cleaner on it then fold it over your sensor. You should see it go all the way over to rich then it will slowly go lean.

But I don't have a wideband at the moment, just stock 02 sensor? How do I check the stock one?

If you put it in the front O2 housing and use narrowband simulation, yes.
Okay, while I wait on the wideband, and o2 dump housing. Can someone please tell me how to do a boost leak test? I made the tester. I can't find the post I got the info from, but I went and bought the products. It was like 8$ all together. My buddy is sealing around the tire valve etc. I will do a leak test tomorrow. How would I do this? Other then listen for air leaks of course, but please give me some advice/help. Thanks

Take the intake off, clamp the tester tightly to the turbo with a hose or t-bolt clamp, start letting some pressure in the system from your compressor, and spray everything that can leak with some soap and water. I just filled up an empty windex style bottle with a little dish soap and water and that works good for finding leaks. Check all the couplers, any gaskets, and around the throttle body to start with. Anything leaking will bubble up

Okay will do, thanks. I will be back in a few days when I can get this done. Need a air compressor.

Do a boost leak test please! And its not a 16g tubrine headers LOL its just called a exhaust manifold or in your case ss tubular manifold, if you wanted to know LOL! What are you using to tune with? What boost level are you seeing? Have you checked turbo for shaft play? Is your maf plugged in all the way? No messed up wires ?

Try adjusting the throttle cable, make sure its not sticking. And then recheck with link that its reading 100%. If not check the tps It may be faulty. As for the wastegate Sounds like maybe your wg acuator might be bad. You can check it with a vacuum pump and see how much it takes to move it.

But as I have said before. There isn't anything for you to tune... You can run 16 psi max on your 16g but what is the point... When you don't have bigger injectors. (Not much of a power gain). You have a boost leak. Just go to lowes and make your own tester for $8 and install it on the compressor side of the turbo. If you need a picture I can send you one in the morning.

I adjusted it, and it's not getting tight enough. I got it to about 54%, can't make it any tight. I stuck a pair of vise grips on that sh*t. I can get it to 100%, but it's causing the pedal to stick. I tried re-adjusting it about a 1,000x. I think I need a new throttle body, with the whole spring assembly. My springs shot, even tried putting a spring from that spring to my firewall, etc. nothing.

Yeah, I'll have to check the wastegate, but ever since I tighten that up, where the flange is closed, it's actually spooling at 1-3rpm. I'm thinking my whole problem is that I'm not getting full 100% throttle response? :/

P.S. what is "TPS"

Look up Jafromobile's Youtube channel there is hours of helpful information on the 4G63.

You might want to grab a pack of beer and some popcorn before watching the videos.

+1 on Jafromobile's channel, man has taught me more about my car than any other person. TPS stands for Throttle Position Sensor. Its located on the front a the throttle body to test it just grab a multi-meter and measure the resistance between pins 1 & 4 should read between 3500-6500 ohms.

I'll have to check it out, and I don't drink, nor eat popcorn. Looks like I'll be looking for another beverage/snack LOL

Alright man, thanks for letting me know that info. I'll have to check it out when I'm around the car.
