Car is located in COSP, work in Denver so either location is possible.

I am dipping the toe in here to see what the possible price would be for a sale on my 92 TSI. I love the car, it runs great but just honestly not into the risk of these things and continuing to build it up. I've owned it since 1995 and the risks outweigh the rewards for me now. I am looking to move out of my house and will lose my garage for a few years so if it doesnt sell I'll store it and drive it in the summers.

Stats:

- 1992 Talon TSI - Black - paint needs work, as most 1g's do. Never been in a wreck, no major body damage.
- @ 187k miles
- Dark tint windows by Rocky Mtn Tint back in the day in Motor City, new windshield.
- Missing a few internal panels due to multiple moves
- Only has driver and pass seat, back seat and all removed.
- Upgraded Walbro fuel pump
- Engine rebuilt at about 150k due to timing belt recall.
- Recent service at Jacks for sitting in storage for about 4 years (have receipts)
- Other service at Rocky Mtn Clutch for items Jacks wouldn't do (have receipts)
- Stock rims with good all season rubber
- 17" Konig Villians with Nito 555 rubber (Bought from Gabe Massine)
- Gabe Massine's tranny (or transfer case I forget) - rebuilt by Rocky Mtn Clutch
- ACT2600 clutch done by Rocky Mtn Clutch (have receipts from years ago)
- Partial 3" exhaust, parts to finish the job.
- 16g Alamo turbo
- MBC
- plenty of misc parts and pieces
- K&N filter
- Greddy upper intercooler pipe
- SAFC installed
- Turbo timer (not installed)

I have no clue what a reasonable price is, so I'd appreciate any honest and non flaming suggestions.

Again I don't HAVE to sell so if the price isn't worth it then I'll drive it until I get totally bored with it.

Holy cow! That's a name I haven't seen in years!!!!

On topic, though, it's so hard to judge price for these cars now. I'd say somewhere between $3500 and $4500 based on a quick search for what I see on craigslist.

Cool thanks for your info, I was assuming about that as well.

Off topic-Ya was part of the original CODSM back in the day (pre internet) so got a lot of cool parts and toys from Gabe and folks like John S, etc. Was a great group, miss em.

Ha, we were probably at some of the same events back in the day. I think I joined CODSM back in 97 or so. I do miss some of those work days and gatherings that the club used to have.
