Alright guys so I finally got around to installing an evo3 16g along with precision 680cc injectors and a wally 190 pump. I keep on having to pull more and more timing and at some spots I'm only running like 1-2*.. Perhaps the boost is just too high (25psi) for 93 octane fuel? Is it time to switch to E85? Also I'm still running stock smic and getting an fmic will probably help?
Any help is appreciated.

2nd-3rd gear pull is right aroung the 92 second mark

You're running the stock smic on a 16g at 25psi and wondering why you're getting knock? I'm not trying to be a dick here, but I'm surprised you haven't blown that engine. That thing probably heat soaks before you are done with 1st gear.

It's time to turn the boost down to 14-15psi until you either:

A) Get a Meth injection kit
B) Buy a FMIC
C) Go the E85 route

Again, not trying to be a dick, but it seems you need to research more before modding your engine as this could have ended much worse.

You nee to upgrade to a fmic. I'm surprised you're running 25psi and your car is still alive. Drop your boost until you get that installed

When is the last time you inspected your knock sensor? Could there be a chance that the filling has worked its way out and you are picking up excessive engine noise?

I don't take comments here personally, and to be honest I welcome criticism, especially when I'm being an idiot :ohdamn: I needed a wake up call, not sure what I was thinking that day.

Anyway I got my hands on an ETS Race fmic and I'm absolutely speechless on the difference it made. Less boost, more timing, zero knock, and best of all significantly more power and throttle response! The 4g63 finally feels alive :thumb:
