You better post some pics up when you get those on! :) I'm usually an advocate of function over form but these wheels complement the bodies of Eclipses/Talons so well that I am strongly considering picking up a set.

You must have the 9.75 wide rims?

Yupp, these are 18x9.75xET20 wrapped with nitto neo gens 225x40x18's. only pushed the tire .75" past the manufacture limit so im hoping they hold up. Id be glad to post photos up as soon as i get them on! shouldnt be more than a few weeks, very excited!

Okay ignore features are awesome. Okay xxr members let's get back on topics

Kels I think I am going to give in and get the 18s they look good man. I will go with at least a 245 x18 all around though to make it look square you know Im a safety guy.

That's the whole point we all choose parts for our cars based on what we personally like and what makes us happy for someone to tell you that you are silly for choosing 245 x 18s is just plain childish! Get my point. You will love those rims;)

What's funny is that nobody said that. Then again, most people can read past a 5th grade level.:thumb:

Carl if you go with the size in the evo video 245 35 18 its a tad bit smaller than a 225 40 18 but looks very nice. A 255 35 18 is the same height as a 225 40 18 and keeps the speedometer accurate. the only thing I don't know how the 255 35 will look on the 8.75 rim but they sure do look good on a 9.75 rim. You will have to play with a tire calculator to see what will work best for the size you going to go with.

Ya 225 was said not 245 LOL

I was making a point that since Carl wants to go with a 245 and I personally chose a 225 I can't say that because he chose that tire size that it's silly for him because I don't like his personal choice because i link something different that's my point 245 makes him happy 225 makes me happy in the end we're both happy

I have never seen the 535's on a DSM. I would not go for a cambered look like that, but the wheels themselves look good. I am planning on buying Evo IX Enkei's. Until I ran across these that is. When Kel had his 527's on and not that low, it looked weird. I'm only ~1.25 lower so I wonder if I bought these 535's in a 17x8.25 +35 if they would fit nicely as that is close to the Evo 9 without being that low.

I think i have drooled over Andre's car long enough, I'm going to pick up a set, but the 8.75 +20mm

the 9.75's poke just a bit too much for me in the back
