So I'm finally going to be spending money on cosmetics for my car. I'm looking for any known good places to get some body and paint work done. Let me know if you know of any please.

Also, if you know of a place to get tinted, as well as a place to roll fenders or have a fender roller, let me know that too! Thanks!

On a side note, if anyone is part of any racing clubs let me know. I'm thinking of signing up for classes at PPIR if anyone else wants to join!

If you plan on doing it yourself, I'm willing to pay someone for a garage job. I can help with body work and everything and will pay for parts and labor.

As far as Open Lapping Days, I'm looking around June time frame to start. I'm looking to get PRK soon (thanking the government for military benefits!!) so I'll want to hit the track after my eyes heal.

Also, Go Gators! :applause: :hellyeah:

Well I should be back in town by then from my coast to coast training. So should be down to do it then, if you're waiting. I had laser eye surgery back in '03 after I joined the army (out now). Was well worth it. Hope all goes well.

Yeah there's no real rush for me to get painted. I could do some interior or suspension stuff in the meantime. Also, it looks like the Academy is booked the next couple months, so I won't be getting the surgery til June-ish. Thanks

I've got a good place up in denver. If that's not too far pm me and I'll find the name of it. Glad to see ya painting. Too many dsms in our area are beat to shit.

Also I'm planning on joining the BMW across club if you're interested. I just got a miata I'm building up. They're cheaper than nasa or scca and give you more runs in a day.

If you can find he name that'd be great. I'm willing to make the drive if the place has a good reputation.

I'm interested in any racing club. I just want to get on track and learn to drive my car to its full potential. It won't handle like your Miata I'm sure, but I think it'll still be fun.

I'll see if I can dig up the name. They do great work.

Ppir is one I've wanted to visit. I have a buddy with a race prepped s2k who was just down there last week for time trial runs. High planes is another good track. Though its. A ways north of you.

I'm expecting good things from the miata. I've been playing with DSMs for 4 years and love em. But there's something so different about a 2000lb rwd convertible that you just cant beat. It'll be even better once I put a t25 on it from my old 2g.

If you get the name of the paint and body shop I'll be interested in that too

Sorry for the late reply.

Auto shop is called Mahnke Auto Body. They have three shops in the metro area.

I'll be checking Mahnke Auto Body out as well.

My 92TSI has the typical gloss coat coming off the paint. Need to get it fixed or re-done.

In COSP so anyone with any tips of local painters down here is appreciated.
