1G head with 2G block, weird I know but theres long story behind it. 2G blocks are great its the crank thats bad. So I worked with Tomei and ordered a 2.3 Evo8 stroker kit. The turbo for now is a S256 DSM and will change to a 6266 soon, but work very well. VRS 3" exhaust, AEM EMS V1 and all the supporting mods!

Beautiful work! I love the stock dual tip exhaust, keep it! What made you switch from the Megan Racing Coilovers to Ohlins?

The muffler was already on the car, its very quite until the waste gate opens to atmosphere which makes it a total sleeper and I have enough back pressure off boost to have a nice throttle response and torque. I have been looking to improve the suspension for years, I have had Tien's and Megans, both are bouncy and even dangerous at high speeds hitting transitions. I searched for years and all the choices were too stiff and bouncy. I wanted a modern compliant coil over that kept the car under control at high speeds and was comfortable. I have KW V3 on my supra and like the ride. I called Robispec and consulted him on building me a set of V3's for the Talon and he wanted $3000, I paid $1850 for my Supra V3's. I felt if I was going to pay $3000 for coil over then Ohlins was probably a better choice so I searched for DSM's with Ohlins and I found the thread on this site about a member who had a set made by Muelerized. I called Muellerized and they interviewed me and had me fill out a build sheet with what I was looking for in a suspension. They built me a set and the customer service is great. They built the coil overs with the spring size and valving in customized for my use, conner balanced and tested them on a borrowed car then shipped them to me with some tools and instructions. I still need to change the rear camber bushing to an adjustable Whiteline version and remove the active toe for better adjustment and handling. While I am at it I will replace all of the associated suspension bushing with new ones.

nitrouskris How are you liking your stroker ???

The 7 bolt EVO8 Tomei stroker kit was one of the best things I could have ever done to the 1G. The 7 bolt allows me to have better clutch choices and choose from better brands like OS GIKEN's R2CD which is the best clutch I have ever used. I love this clutch so much I swapped my Supra's RPS twin CC clutch to a OS GIKEN R3C which I love too. The Tomei stroker kit is the most advanced and durable kit available. It is an engineering marvel and it comes with instruction for the machine shop to follow. I chose to use the billet main caps for durability, too much material would need to be removed from the girdle to clear the crank stroke. I was so impressed with the out put and power characteristics of this set up. The ported 1g head and the big cams idle nearly like stock and the throttle response is Ferrari like, very quick and snappy. So don't believe the hype about he 2g head having better velocity and throttle response, even with the 70mm throttle body and big cams. I highly recommend having all friction surfaces treated with WPC process to free up more hp with less friction and add longevity and reliability added to the equation. Worth every penny!

I'm considering a manifold change to a T3 Full-Race, I'd like some feed back on fitment, power characteristics and durability they encountered and if they had another manifold they had to compare it to and or if there was a better choice and why they think that brand was better. Thanks! The current manifold has has to be repaired once already because the weld on the waste gate runner broke. It also allowed the tial waste gate to hit the hood under acceleration. The S256 I'm using has a DSM housing and its restrictive plus the turbo exhaust outlet is close to the alternator and keep frying them and the wires to the alternator. Any advice on what ppl are doing with that would be appreciated too. The DSM housing is limited to about 510whp on the S256. I had shield built but it cracks at the anchor points.

What parts did you have treated by WPC? What was the general cost for those parts you had treated? From the video demos it looks like a great product for reducing friction and heat.

It's been too long ago to remember the cost. The pistons, the crank, rods and their bearings were treated.

I think it was around $1200 for the front and back seats. He did my MKIV Supra door panels first, they turned out great too. He even does leather dash wraps like exotic cars.

Now that I have lowered the car I am looking for the best rear camber adjustment part, like ingals, white lines or some custom made upper control arm. I hear there was a link on that but could not find it. So if any one has it book marked please contribute with the link or there experience the a part for this correction in camber. I have -2.5 degrees in the rear.
