Okay first off I know there has been a hundred threads on this it seems like but none have the real answers.. I really like the look of these fender flares and I simply want to know if someone has done a full write up of how to cut/instal step by step? Or at least what "model" of flares they are?

Really hoping someone has done a full write up and I just haven't been able to find it so feel free to link a thread but only if it is a write up on installing or which to buy please as I've reads a bunch of just random talking.

Thank you!

I already searched 99% of those are just random talking and people asking how to actually do it I'm looking for a thread that will actually tell me how to do this!

Sorry I forgot to upload the pic so here it is this is what I want.

I know it's not the best pic but everyone who wanted to do fender flares has seen this cars photo shoots before

Wasn't it confirmed that these were older 240 flares made to fit? There wouldn't be a step by step write up because its a complete custom job. Some would mount the flares further forward, further back, higher up, lower.... you get the point. The best idea is to actually get your hands on a set and use painters tape to hold them to the body and adjust them to your liking. Then mark them or drill your holes for mounts. Pretty simple in reality, just getting the balls to drill into your body is the hard part.

The people that do it dont want everybody to have it hence the no good write ups..

Yeah it's understandable haha

That's why I've heard I'll have to look into it some more thanks though!

i kind of like the way that looks! i would do it if i had a 2g

I agree with pipnorcali ^ a while ago I ran into a post on face book when the owner from the 2g above with the fender flares started a post to get opinions and show his new addition to his ride . I am more then sure that he used the same flares in this link Z FORCE PRODUCTIONS - 240Z 260Z 280Z 280ZX PERFORMANCE PARTS, APPAREL, AND MORE TO COME!!! would work fine with a few adjustments .

Thanks for the info I now know my next mod

Those are sweet looking!

Hell yeah!

awdforthewin- not a problem brutha I'm actually looking into installing some flares on my 2g myself along with some xxr gold wheels with a nice offset . I plan on making a thread on the install process with a before and after . We will see soon good luck !
