Poor GSX ): Not extremely bad damage, was driving when somebody in a turning lane changed their mind and turned right into me. Broken headlight and scuffed/misaligned bumper are my only problems. I obviously need a new/used headlight, no worries, but what about the bumper alignment? Is it the bumper or the fender thats creating the gap? Fender doesn't show any visible damage. And if it is the bumper how can it be fixed without replacing it? (pushing upwards on bumper doesn't help close the gap) Thanks

Luckily my intercooler didn't get damaged. & what are the chances that I didn't damage anything too important? I can't see any other damages

Looks to me like you got extremely lucky. I don't see any major damage, just cosmetic. Doesn't your bumper bolt to the bottom of your fender? Maybe check those bolts to see if they got pulled thru your bumper cover which would keep it from being pushed back up to mate with the bottom of the fender. All in all tho, my luck wouldn't have been as good.

Pull the bumper cover, and inspect mounting hardware and brackets for damage. All told you were pretty fortunate. Doubly so, since no one was injured.

I've already got a headlight on order, and I've began removing the bumper to inspect for any hidden damage. I think I got lucky looks like the guys rear end hit and went over my bumper, smashing the headlight. There is a TINY dent on the fender but that's not a problem. I had a split second headsup to slam the brakes and hit him slowly vs slamming into him at 40. Ill keep you guys updated thanks

About to replace headlight. Appears I got very lucky. The metal bracket behind the headlight caved in some but shouldn't effect anything

I'd like pictures of the bumper quick release installed too. If it really is that easy, it'd be a worth while investment. And if you have it handy, instructions for installation.

Looks like it was a really light hit. Fortunately, it looks like the only thing that needs to be replaced is the headlight. Then a little bit of body work on the fender, and sand out the spider cracks on the front bumper, some paint, and she'll look good as new.

wow you got really lucky with that! whats up with intercooler piping on the driver side?
