Yeah, I have it setup to the drivers front, and passengers rear. I had my tire pressure at 12psi and still didnt help. The car is put away for the season, already took off the slicks and stored them in my basement! May put the car on a dyno for shits and giggles, but not sure I even care what it makes.

I wish I could get a dog box that cheap!!! I work there and can't even get that good of a price. So that staging brake will hold you at the line pretty well until you're off of it even though it's only locking two wheels

mod list is up to date
I actually decided on copying your current mod list to the thread as it seems to change a lot and it would be good to have a hard record of what it took for you to go 9.12 and 158.5mph. :p

Others should follow suit when posting horsepower or track threads as no mod list seems to stay the same for long around here. ;)

What are all the plans for winter? And can the 1g get any lighter? I think it may be time for carbon fiber fenders,
Doors, hatch and some magnus wheel hubs. Save you another 200lbs there i think. That car will be so fun.

Wouldn't you like to know. LOL

Probably, but I think Dave's done spending money on parts regarding weight savings...unless he's willing to go on a diet, which I don't think is going to happen- Dave likes being tough enough to scare many large animals. :p

He's the only sub-6 in the 1/8th-mile car using a 60mm turbo....he's holding his own against a bunch of 42R's, 67mm PTE's, and 70+mm Borgs- so obviously the next thing to upgrade will be the turbo.

I think you should either drop some weight on your own car, or start donating if you want Dave to spend more money on his. :D

Thats the best part about being in the holset community. I'm hoping to my build for next season can start putting $1500 turbo setups to shame.:thumb:

Justin & Dave, I got the bep70ar HX52 pulled off my car and put the 'ol faithfull 40 back on. If you guys would like to get the T3 HX52 turbo just let me know, me and alex will gladly send it to you so you guys could try and do a test fit. Keep me posted cause we have no problem sharing the turbo with you guys.

Sometimes I wonder why I didnt just keep my hx40 with 14c2m housing.. Would have saved tons going single scroll 70 t3 seeing how Dave ,you and Alex are making great power.

Yeah, im pretty much done spending on the car for awhile, atleast for winter LOL. I have a huge enclosed gooseneck trailer I need to fix up and have ready for next season!
Might do a cf hatch in the future, but definitely not the doors or fenders!
We have a turbo in the works for the upcoming season, we'll see how it goes once the 40 hits the 8s.... Nothing will be switched till the stock hx40 goes 8s, I promise that!

Oh yeah, Justin I lost 20lbs since this summer, so maybe thats why the car trapped 158, compared to the 154 earlier this year!!! LOL

CeeDawg, the hx40 is the best for all around contendor turbo. Single throat turbine housings are indeed awesome, I've had didveded befor but have never had a true divided turbo header. It works and I'm totally happy with the Holset HX series. Just swapped out the big 52 for the little brother 40 (LOVE the way the 40 sounds) its. The damnest thing tho, I swap out snails and my valve cover gasket deceides to spring a leak....

Sometimes the DSM game is indeed a curse, it never ends does it :) ....

Now I feel like a new DSM guy but what is the CB Spec intake diff from the Race one

No look under the drag manifold there is a CB spec drag mani

" The "Curt Brown Special" 2G Drag Intake Manifold is available for no extra charge, it consits of a longer runner length ideal for 1G cars running a 2G head. Also available is a RWD version of this manifold for no extra cost as well, perfect for the custom 4G63 swap into a rear wheel drive vehicle. If purchasing one of these versions online be sure to specify which version during checkout in the "Comments" section."

What ignition setup are you running? Stock coils with NGK 7-8 plugs or a c.o.p with Cdi box? I'm curious with the compression and boost you run.

are you planning on going to IFO at the end of the month?
