Alright guy by the end of the week I should have just around 600 extra dollars extra for my car.. Was trying to see which parts would be best to buy first and which ones to wait on or which ones you would buy at the same time.

I need
-a new turbo (have a dsm flange mani) (I understand I will not e able to buy a bad ass turbo but maybe someone has an idea hx35 bep housing? Or something)
-ecu socketed and ECM link v3 full
-fuel system (injectors, regulator, pump)
-new down pipe
-o2 housing and tial 38mm WG
-tial blow off valve
-clutch/flywheel??
Current turbo is a t25 but the guy before be has drilled out the threads so it has bolts going all the way through with nuts on the back side and I have a blown 14b as well would really like to step up to a new turbo but I understand I need supporting mods any ideas would help... And my goals will not exceed 600hp for a loooong time and It will be my every other day driver on nice days.

Start of getting ecmlink and learning to tune your car. It will make a big difference once you start modding more. Also very important is to make a pm list and make sure they are all up to the task! Get some good gauges to help monitor and log as many as you can. Then get the fuel system ready for more boost. Send your 14b to justin for a rebuild and rock that. You will love it compared to the t25 LOL!

I would go with ECMlink out of your choices. I am new to DSMs but just in these first few months, I would have loved to have that diagnostic tool. It is still my next planned upgrade. You could always go with an intake, intercooler, etc. assuming that you dont have them that is.

Okay jut for reference I do have
-AEM wideband

-FP race manifold
-vrsf inter cooler
-hks ssqv bov for now
-3" exhaust to a vibrant turbo muffler (still stock cat and dp

I have a good friend tune my car while I'm learning :) and what do you mean by pm list?

Also I really want to step up to at least a 16g :p

Pm's list (preventative maintenance) making sure the timing belt and components are fresh, tune up stuff, suspension can handle the power, tires, brakes, boost leak test, and anything else that could fail from age and abuse! Lol some prothane motor mounts probably wouldn't hurt if you haven't already. 16g's are really fun turbo's look for a evo3 16g for even more fun! Small 16g flows around 35lb/min while a evo3 flows around 47lb/min! Your setup is already heading in the right direction so just keep at it! I would get a bigger downpipe once you get a new turbo finish the 3" exh setup.

Buy Ecm link, you will get more power out of a good tune with ECMLink then just slapping a 16g on there.

you say you have a friend tuning your car but you havent mentioned anything to tune your car with like a SAFC.

buy ECMLink you wont regret it!

Thanks a lot of all the help guys! and if I decide to run speed density with ECM link that can be added at anytime correct?

Also when would you recommend getting a new clutch? Supposedly the guy before me put a stage 2 in it and it feels pretty firm on the pedal but don't know brand or model or anything

You can always start of buying v3lite and when your ready upgrade to the full version and get the speed density package. I do suggest getting a 3 bar map sensor so you can log boost and use your airflow to help tune. Clutch is hard to say could be good for awhile if he just changed it, it's all about how you drive. Launch it to many times the wrong way and it could wipe it out quick! There's a inspection cover you can remove and take a look at the clutch. You should be able to tell if its stock or aftermarket. Maybe sometimes its hard to see. Most aftermarket are like yellow, purple, blue, brighter paint than stock. The guy didn't tell you what brand only that its stage 2?

What the difference in lite vs full? And no he didn't tell me he was uhhh a little motor challenged I think and abused the hell outa this car there was at least 1/2 inch of dirt caked onto the car when I bought it.. It was a disgrace I had to save it. :(

Well actually ecmlink only sells full V3 now because of the limited supply of rom chips they have. However if you do happen to buy lite used here's the differences: prodcompare [ECMTuning - wiki]
