Recently got my first running turbo dsm and now I'm a freak about knowing EVERYTHING that goes on with the car. I plan on getting link soon so I want one that will work well with link. Also where is everyone running their gauges wires/line for a pillar pod? I'm currently running my boost gauge through the steering boot and I cringe at the thought of it staying for long.

I have the innovate MTX-L and the o2 connected to the rear. Runs through a hole in the firewall about 4 inches to the right of steering boot.

That's what I was planning on doing... Did you get the power sports version o the mtx l or the regular?

And how was it to install?

And also how long do the sensors last and would I have to buy a whole new wideband kit to replace it?

I have the NGK Powerdex and it works very well and I have had it for years with no issues other than replacing the sensor.

Not sure. Its just MTX-L. Installing wasn't too huge of a problem. I had a buddy help me. We tapped the power source to the starter. I haven't had any problems. Sensor costs --- [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Innovate-Motorsports-3737-Wideband-Sensor/dp/B000COBT9A]Innovate Motorsports 3737 Bosch Wideband O2 Sensor LSU4.2 : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame]
Depends how rich or lean you are running and if it is in the front o2 or rear. Mine needed to be calibrated when i thought it was out.

The mtx l looks like a good choice but it seems like for every good review on it theirs another bad saying it started wigging out a week later.

I like the MTX-L also, I run it both in my DSM and my Jeep XJ.

Installation is easy, make sure you follow the calibration set up. You will need a computer/laptop to set it up.

The only thing that is wrong with the gauge is that its not small enough, but we cant always win, the back is too deep to a degree. Some gauge pods and gauge set up will have trouble with the size of the gauge. If the unit was 1/2 shorter, it would perfect, but nothing is perfect so the MTXL still is still awesome with this minor flaw.

I bought the MTXL for under 160 new, you really cant beat that

I run an LC-1 on my GST, in the stock rear O2 location. I use the dual gauge cluster bezel, as I don't care for pillar pods or the attention they have a tendency to attract.

Innovate also has great customer service; (In my experience) I recommend buying from them directly and not from a re-seller.

My plans are to get an innovate lc1 wideband, but that will be after link v3.
plus the guys at dsmlink suggest using innovate wide bands with link v3.
you can checkout the blue lc1 gauge in the link below, only 1 bad ratings on amazon for the lc1 too.

Keep in mind that most vendors are replacing the Lc-1 unit with the Lc-2. This may not apply to websites like amazon, or ebay, but I ordered my LC-1 from STM and got shipped an LC-2. Other than being confused on the wiring, installation was pretty straight forward and I have had no issues. My gauge is mounted in the HVAC.

The Innovate MTX-L wideband is the best bang for the buck. Period. Are there widebands that are better? Probably. Are there ones that are cheaper? Probably. Are there any that are a better value for your money? I challenge someone to name one.

This being said the lc1 is the second best bang for the buck imho.
both units should have few if any problems hooking up to link.

With aem you have to worry about the link syncing slowly.
Innovate you can actually calibrate through link or ecuflash. As well, LC or MTX seem to do fine with any ethanol or other gases. I've switched from e85-e100-ftw purple, no issues with sensor failures or erratic readings.

I just paid $150 for mine, new, shipped
livedsm4g63 and 2g spyder eclipse, you guys mind share the Link? Im looking for a mtx l and those sound like great prices. Thanks in advance.

The AEM UEGO doesn't have a narrowband sim, which can be useful to some applications.

I definitely recommend the Innovate MTX or LC-1/LC-2, great products and there are reviews all over this site.

Im another innovate lc1 user and like it. But if you want much better readings then the ngk unit is the better option. I love my inovate but as ive been told my so many ecu tuners is not as accurate as the ngk

Believe it or not, ebay for $150.
Amazon has them for $155.

I went for the ebay one, just to give it a try. Same part numbers and everything. No problems thus far.
