I didnt get any pics of him this time. (I was chilling in the shade..ha)but he won the awd class..congrats

Oh crap! I don't know if I want to watch that vid.
The launch felt terrible. Looking at the datalogs it looks like the axle broke right away, the rpm spiked up then bounced a few times before I shifted into second gear. I think the bouncing came from the diffs winding up and locking.

Thanks for the pics, BTW my granpa sleeper car went 148.5mph and 113mph in the 1/8th.

I saw the race between you and Hein, it was very close, great race. I couldn't tell who was ahead until the end.

that was a little embarrassing. Pretty cool too. It looks like the axle broke right off the launch, then the car nose dived, then the diffs caught up and started sending power to the other wheels and the car squatted again and bounced. Oh well it's just an axle, I have a spare set.

Another cool thing about that run was the spider gears in the center diff welded themselves together trying to send 600+HP to the wheels while the rear axle was spinning. I called Shep on Tuesday and he said, 'no prob I'll take care of it.' So I shipped the center diff to him, it was completed this morning and it's shipping back next day air! I'll have the car up and running in a week. So I don't mind breaking parts once in a while, it's usually cheap and easy to fix.

Ted, your run looked incredibly smooth. Def jelly.
