Nice build!! Loving the weld pictures for sure. Are you using a gas welder or electric?

Oh on a side note, while i was beating in my ARP wheel studs i ruined the bearing from shock. Now it has play ;( I'm gonna have someone else do those little bitches. Maybe magnus LOL. Honestly it's not worth my headache, I'll take all the hubs over there with the studs.

Why are you trying to beat ARP wheel studs in? All you need is a bunch of washers and a m12 x 1.5 nut. You place the washers over the stud once you run it through the hub and tighten the nut down. Tightening the nut down will pull the stud into place.

I looked through your thread and saw where you were having to trim the front cover for the fluidampr to fit correctly. I had to do the same thing. Haven't installed it yet as I'm waiting for some longer arp bolts to come in. Looking good man

I purchased mine about a year and a half ago. I browsed around here and saw where some were having problems and some weren't. I ordered 5mm longer arp bolts. Figured $12 wouldn't hurt. Lol

They should be arriving tomorrow so I will take some pics and let you see the difference. I had actually ordered stock replacement bolts before I knew there "might" be an issue with the length of the bolts. I ordered arp-661-1003 bolts

Ahh her first glimpse of the sun since last fall

Assuming i get around to these head parts in time I'd love a 9.9 at 140+ but I'll settle for a 10.5 this year
I'm still technically illeagal for faster than 11.49 due to cage and drive shaft loop but I'm gonna see what i can get away with. Just test and tune after all.

About to wash her down and clean out the garage

About to take her out for a rip for the first time with the new suspension side exit and fluidampr. Wastegate pressure 25psi

THE DG KONIS are FRICKIN AWESOME!!!!! God how i missed driving this thing!! The ride is so smooth now compared to my blown kyb AGX!

Passed an ontario provincial police (our version of state patrol) and they didn't even look at me LOL teaser vid shortly. You can hear the holset spool up and down like crazy with the side exit!

went to start the car up earlier and blew the mpi fuze. damnit LOL

Got mpi fuze replaced. Took a gopro video and as soon as i hit the highway for a 4th gear pull to see where i was ahe bogged rich cause i had the boost turned down but didn't compensate the tune. The go pro stops recording due to full memory. I'll get some better videos here in a few days.

Then I'll start working on the fuel sending unit AN bungs and walbro 450. and the leaky looped power steering lines i just made for myself LOL.

I'll be adding an inline 044 pump to go with the 450 at some point.

I noticed temps are a bit higher 190-213 with the half rad cruising in town so I'll meed the fan on full time to compensate!

The other day i noticed my door was still ajar and it killed the battery. I'll see what a jump will do.

Put back in both oem seats so i can have a passenger, as well as fpr the driver seat i took out the kirkey to work on a new bracket.

I really like my -8an feed awd sending unit with wally 450, just make sure to drill out the little plastic orange piece to 1/8" so you can lower fuel pressure properly... I am actually planning on putting in a 044 in-line later on as well to make sure I have plenty of fuel.

Looking good man! Get us a full boost video, really wanna see what she will do through a couple gears :thumb:

Man I haven't been keeping up but I checked out the build thread this morning good to see the car running ,its purring very nicely:thumb:

Thnks kels, I'm consistantly having no time to tackel big jobs like the head build with the BC Parts and was thinking about i stalling it all in my spare 6bolt head and couple it with a magnus cast manifold. And when it's ready swaap it all! Only problem is i dont have a 6bolt motor mount for the driver side LOL

Walbro 450 installation almost done including -8 feed and -6 return. Need to buy the actual lines still but this is lookin good!

I had some issues in the tight areas where welding but it is all good now.

The only thing left with the pump itself is finding pin conmectors to maje this an oem like connection, i didn't wanna use crimps or butts here

Nice job on the AN conversion, turned out solid now finish that head so I can send you my fuel hanger to weld up too! Noticed you mentioned not having a 6 bolt motor mount, you don't need one though. You will still use the same one you have now the only change you'll have to make if you are moving from a 7 bolt block to a 6 bolt block is to take a grinder and remove a small corner that would otherwise interfere with the water pump in the top right corner. Very quick and easy. I thought you already had a six bolt swap so maybe I'm not thinking of the same thing as you when you say motor mount, this is in regards to the actual bracket/mount that goes on the block which the body mount then slides down onto...
