So I finally got my wideband o2 and just had a few questions. Right now all I have are a safc and a pocketlogger with the lc1. I pretty much know all the wiring it's just the yellow and brown that are confusing me. In the meantime, i've installed the wbo2 sensor in the stock front o2 bung with a copper heatsink. My question is... which wire simulates the narrowband signal? I don't have dsmlink or anything like that yet, and just want to prevent the ecu from throwing a CEL in the meantime. Since it's the front o2, I figured it's pin 76 on the ecu, but which wire do I tap into pin 76? the yellow or the brown. I've read some forums that state both but that doesn't seem right to me - so I just wanted to make sure before I go splicing it in... Thanks!

By default the yellow one is a narrow band simulation and you can use it with the stock ECU. The brown one is a wide band and can be used with gauge.

The reason you are confused is that you can program the outputs to whatever you want so you can use both to simulate a narrow band or wide band if you program the outputs to.

hey all, thanks for the replies!

so after a long night, I finally got everything hooked up and working great! just one problem... after 1 ignition cycle I got a p0135 for heat bank o2 sensor... is this because I tapped pin 76? should I cut it and only feed in the yellow wire to the ecu?

my other question:
im tuning with a safc, and changing the percentage on lo-throttle, there wasn't much of a change. Should I just tune lo-throttle using STFT and LTFT via a logger and mainly use the WB for WOT/hi-throttle tuning?

Thanks!

I hate to bring back an old threads but I'm having the same exact issue. I have ecmlink v3 full. I just finished putting my car back to stock to get it smogged. I previously had no emissions equipment. This cel is the only thing keeping me from smogging.
