Galant vr4 I built, tuned. Simple 2.0 his 272s fp3065 fp manifold on straight 92/93 octane. Full weight, AC is cold. 30psi cars moving. Traps 123/124 on those little 195s [ame=http://youtu.be/4U_5LV8X0JY]Junkbox gvr4 - YouTube[/ame]

My car made 604 at 30psi. Went 10.200@135 on that straight 92 octane on the small gt42 wheel. Car was rich up top end. Full weight auto. 2.4, kelford 272s. Had my buddy look at the tune. Never hurts to learn new things and get opinions from outside friends even if your good and can make a car go.

I'm on a 2.0 now. I rock 8.8-9.4 compression in my builds . Never tried a high compression motor yet. Maybe soon. 2.4 is getting a remodel and I have all the stuff for a fox body swap. Changing some items on the talon also. Maybe time for a 4299/4205.
 
Any dyno charts of the FP black?

Sorry I am late responding but no...I have not been on a Dyno since going to the Black.

I wonder if he is getting away with shifting into 4th cause its not making a ton of power.

You tell me..What does it take to take something that weights 3000lbs and run a 1/4 mile in 10.52 -cutting 1.6 60's on street tires..? Maybe we have been lucky maybe not ,I do not know.. I can see a stock built auto having problems though.

I recently found out I need to replace my manifold and turbo... any suggestions?

I'd like to keep my internal gate and current exhaust setup. A cast manifold would be preferred.
 
Fp black and fp race manifold. start your own thread.

I was thinking something along those lines. Any other suggestions? I was running a 60-1 with a .83 ar and liked the way it felt.

Lose your attitude please. My post is perfectly appropriate to this topic. I bet if I started another thread that said I was looking for a pump gas turbo for my 2.3L you would tell me to do a search! :p
 
I was running an HTA35r on my 2.4LR in my EVO 8 tuned by English Racing. It spooled 30psi by 4400RPM but that was on e85. It made 420hp on pump on a fairly conservative 24psi tune but didn't make peak tq till 5000rpms. Justin hit the nail on the head. You can't really have all 3. You have to pick 2 LOL and live without the 3rd. Fast spool DSM flanged, pump gas and 450hp don't really equal 1 particular turbo.
