Most say they don't fit because of the depth. It would have to be a very deep unit not to fit.

The only issues that I had on mine was the guide pins on the sides for the brackets. I just got my Dremel tool out and cut a little off of the pins. It sits nice and flush now but mine has a gap on the top and sides. I just use that to slide in the aux. cable and usb cable. They fill in the gap nicely LOL .

what head unit is yours?

It's a BOSS AUDIO BV9354 BV9354 | Boss Audio Systems It's a 6.2" touch screen dvd player. I should have spent a little more and got the one with the nav and bluetooth in it but I'm happy with it.

I'll have to snap some pics and show them in this thread. I have to take some pics of the interior on sunday anyway for other reasons but I'll post em.

that would be cool.

any standard double din unit SHOULD fit. (6.5" screen). anything bigger and you'll have to start cutting the radio trim piece. here's my alpine unit. i did some fab work and filled in the gaps around all four sides and painted it.

That's clean dude! I like it. Is that the oem trim piece?

I didn't modify mine because I had seen how the cables slid right in and thought that it would be fine. Plus they are right there so I can just pull them out and slide the back at anytime and not have wires hanging around in the cab or the console.

Wondering the same thing. Im looking at the pioneer 3600, and 4100- 4600 series. But the 4100-4600 series the face folds down to insert cd. Not sure if it would hit the shifter.

mine also slides down. it DOES hit the shifter while in 1st,3rd and 5th and will not work. but there is enough clearance when in neutral or 2nd, 4th or reverse

Very clean man. I wish I had the skills to do that with mine.

I have one in my car as well. It is actually a single din with a double din face. I used the stock brackets. I also grounded it so I could watch movies (more like the gf can) while I'm driving. Here are some pics.

Just out of curiosity, what did you do with your hvac controls? Did you just delete them or did you move them somewhere else? I like how those gauges look there.

Yeah mine is grounded as well so my son can watch movies. I actually bought a DVD player w/ 2 screens to go on the back of the seats that have aux. video in and I can have it all playing the same thing or my wife can watch one thing and my son watch something different.
