HEAD OR OFH?????
is necesary use restrictor for my set up?????
Oil drain is ok????.or is small

I'm not an expert but I know for a fact the OFH is a WAY BETTER OPTION. You get oil that has just been filtered and I think access to more oil.
I would try googling to see what restrictor and oil drain size.

Btw if there's still a silencer in there you should take it out.

E:Sidenote, is your car black or purple? Looks good, wish the picture wasn't so small. :D

Found on google,
"The holset is fine with stock 4g63 oil pressure from the oil filter housing. If you have no b shafts, you'll need a restrictor. The drain line is a garret bolt pattern. The feed line is different for different turbos."

Youre going to want to search for the threads covering holsets. There is a lot of useful information including causes of failure, correct oil pressure, correct oil feed location and restrictor size, and also the correct drain size for oil drain. Youll find good arguements and pics on the setups that fellow tuners are using.

...for starters, a large majority of these guys recommend nothing smaller than a -12 size line and fittings for your custom oil drain. Next you may need to run the .078 restrictor feeding from the oil filter housing. Some guys feed from the head. Youll need to guage the amount of oil pressure that the turbo is "seeing."

I personally dont have any experience with the holset, but i did consider going with that setup. The info that I found is definitely worth the time

Ok now I would like to know the personal experiences of each with holset
I'm interested in ...
oil drain, oil feed line, (or head size and OFH), personal experiences please.
If you believe there is an important fact that is useful to know please let me know

You have been given several links. Now go read them.

Thank you very much friend and the color of my car is black

I think I can add an additional gauge in my car to check the pressure of the turbo, but I have installed oil gauge in my OFH
Or you mean other extra oil gauge?

so now this inside my car...

Thank you very much to all that took time to answer and so I was reading about the Holset need-12an oil drain, oil feed line-4an and 080-085 oil restrictor, I know that in these post not Information must be classified, so I will put an ad in WTB

Not to get off topic but you may want to check whether or not that Holset is real or knock off, if it matters to you. The compressor nut looks wrong. But yes there are pages, like 10+ on how to setup a holset and which drain is best. Iirc the best drain I saw was a stock metal Holset drain that then had a stock mitsu drain (pan side) flange welded to it. It was metal and was plenty big enough since it was stock Holset drain. Good luck and post up when your finished. Most if not all feed from the oil filter housing for a Holset.

How I can know if it is really or not a Holset???
good buddy observation
think anyone would like to have something and then realize it's not what you think

^ the compressor nut is wrong? You do know thats fricking EASY to replace right? It could have been done during a rebuild.

You dont need a restrictor with a -12 line if your pressure is fine. I dont run one, just straight ofh -4 to turbo :thumb:

Do you keep the balancing shafts?
if I install a -12AN oil drain
How can I know if the pressure is correct?
Greetings

Incorrect. It's very real.

Thank you very much to all for your comments, I have resolved my doubts, someone could tell me where to buy these parts, especially some link please

Thank you very much and sorry for taking the photos, I will use-10an oil drain and the same restrictor you used
I will continue in the footsteps of your post

Wait wait wait no no no no -10 you mean -12 right?
And i already told you i didn't use a restrictor. That fitting is just to plumb a temporary gauge in to see your pressure to determine if you even need a restrictor or not.

No need to apologize for the pix. They are there for everyone.
