So I did a couple searches and came up with nothing, either way I hope this isn't a duplicate posting. Here's a little background, I joined this site a little while ago but I'm stationed overseas and it's hard finding time to get online so it's been awhile since I've been on the site. I'm building a rwd LS376 powered 1g, currently the interior tins and mini tubs are being fabricated. My question for the post is: Has anyone tried or thought about converting a 240sx rocket bunny kit onto a 1g? I ask this only because I'd like to try and I would like to see results of someone else's attempt first. I've seen some other "widebody" 1gs and I think they look terrible, however I've seen 1 with fender flares that I liked. Any help would be great! I'm working on some sketches, if they turn out I'll post them to show my ideas.
Thanks guys!

I have seen the silvia headlight conversion, So I don't see why not? You taking about the red talon with the black flares? His looks nice and agressive.

Yeah, that's what I liked about the red/black talon. Being stationed in Japan I see the rocket bunny kit on a lot of 240's and i like how aggressive it is. The 1g and 240 body look pretty similar to me, I figure there can't be too much modification involved.

A good body shop can make anything happen when it comes to that kind of thing

Well this is how it sits in the shop right now, we'll more work is done on the mini tubs and the interior tins but I don't have shots of that yet.

So for me to have the kit put on it wouldn't be an issue, I was just looking to see what it looked like before spending the money on it. I guess I'll have to play around on photoshop.

Just did a quick sketch on my tablet, what do you guys think?

I think if it was done properly it could look extremely good. This seems to be one of those things that will be almost entirely dictated by the execution alone.

I don't know if you have seen the "Evo X front bumper on a 2g" thread but it seems applicable to your question. The Photoshopped pictures that some members did, myself included looked very good in my opinion where as the actual results looked pretty damn bad. If it had been executed better it would have looked awesome. I say go for it!

if it could turn out like those sketches, i say go for it, would look very aggressive and enhanced.

i have some sketches of a widebody 1g i want to try, but im not sharing, unfortunately :p

Dead thread is dead. But it would be awesome to see this happen.
