Im the turbo MR2 community there has been a shift towards running without a bov. Having been part of the DSM community for over 12+ years and gaining much of my turbo knowledge from dsm's this just sounded strange to me. I would like to hear from you guys as to what you think about not running a bov and how and if it really affects performance?

I would only not run a BOV on low boost applications, in my datsun, it won't have a BOV when I'm breaking it in, which will only be about 8 psi.
In my old dsm, i removed the BOV once just to see what happened and it ran the best it ever has without it. in between shifts the boost hardly dropped and there were no more boost leaks (the BOV leaked, thats why i ran without one LOL)

Thanks for the link, had not seen that.
