I do have an aftermarket fpr, the gauge has never spiked, though my oil pressure gauge has spiked randomly since I've owned the car, but never ran weird

If it happened when you arc'd something then you should be checking sensors and such. Good chance that 02 is dead. Also a really good chance you blew the alt fuse but it's still hopping an arc across the two ends of the blown metal inside. Pull the alt plug and check it. Had something like this similar happen not long ago. Friend arc'd off of the battery. Car ran like shit. Ended up being the alt fuse.

So, Guys... Got a question cause I've been sitting on the fence for this one...

Rebuild the seven bolt in my 2g OR swap in my already built six bolt out of my 1g? This angry looking 2g has been growing on me a little more every time I look at it. . . Now I'm wanting to do something with it.

Alt fuse is fine. I've already replaced it. As for the o2 there is nothing I can do, it's stripped in the bung. I need a titanium welder, know anyone?

I bumped into a guy driving a stick shift starion today. Kinda ragged and sounded like it was missing. I tried to convince him to sell it to me but he wouldn't. I mean I went as far a 2g's cash to buy it from him cause the body was immaculate but still nothing... I gave him my card and sent him on his way and said if it ever quit and he was wanting to sell I would gladly take it off his hands. sigh I just cant get a break going rwd again...

Arkansas Craigslist for our cars sucks. There's NEVER any parts for sale.

I search my home in Massachusetts and there's TONS of parts. ROFL

So yea, in August my military career is over and I leave you guys. :coy:

Not for this ^^^^ reason though LOL

:) Chad you are not driving your car right bro

He didn't say he crashed or anything like that. Pulling a 360 with a solid recovery, I'd say he's driving the car right.

I'm running street tires on mine and there is no grip on solid ice going in these hills so i'm stuck out of work for the next day or two, sucks. Never fun to go up a hill then end up going back down it backwards. Ended up pulling a J turn midway back down the hill, it's some hairy shit out here.

Weather sucks I can't go grab my new to me engines till I have a dry warmer day to get to springfield.

So, I was going through dsmlink and I saw that for dtcs my o2 isn't checked, guarantee if I check it and link to my car it'll pop a code. But to the point, there is a box to check for eliminating a front o2 for closed loop. Is that a bad idea and if so why, pros and cons. Since my front o2 has very little volts anyway.

Checking it will lock the front thus pretty much saying you have no front o2 in your car. I don't think it will help, but it won't hurt to do some trial and errors.

I'm gonna try googling front o2 voltages, might help to also know absolute values...idr what cruising, idle and wot volts should be.

What is .5v on it?

It should cycle at idle. Up and down, like one of those heart beat monitors in hospitals.

Should cycle when driving too. Flatline at WOT, well at a higher voltage.

Was it a white starion?? I seen one the other day going to work. If its the same it did have a straight body on it. Me and scratch lined em up a couple days ago. The Optima took the velocitor ( with no surprise due to mine being an up model) but his car actually backfired something fierce and he kinda let off a bit. Sounded like a shotgun going off.

Dat snow.... Be careful guys, Batesville getting snowed up right now.

Thanks bro, I didn't even know you were from Batesville. I'm moving to velvet ridge hopefully this month or next, so I'll be a bit closer to Batesville. Man....that snow sucks out tonight, almost 2 inches in searcy by the time I got home....
