Is 155k mile a lot for a 420a engine and do I need to tear down and rebuild

Don't fix it if it isn't broken. Do a compression/leakdown test, if all is well leave it alone. There are others on here with far more miles on their cars, I wouldn't worry about it.

Well with any engine if you don't know the history I might rebuild I have used one used engine in my cars but, it soon failed so now I just rebuild them, or have them rebuilt. but at least check bearings, replace your timing parts, oil pump, and change the head gasket.

As long as it isn't knocking or excessively smoking, all I would do is the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner/idler pullies with mitsu parts just for peace of mind. After a compression test of course.

I took her to the track by me the other day and ran the piss out of it and it did fine it's going through oil but that's because of a small leak. I think I'm gunna order a gasket kit and a rebuild kit and do that. Then I'm gunna start the mods just wish it was standard :(

A lot of silly info here. If your engine is running fine there is no need to rebuild it. Do maintenance, fix the oil leak, and drive it. 155k on an inline 4 really isn't a whole lot. Than there is the possibility that you mess something up m the rebuild process and have a catastrophic failure that will cost you more in the long run.
