I got a 97 SHO Taurus with a v8 auto 4 door if you think it might be something your interested in. At my house in ward if you wanna come look one day.

If that's the cosworth bottom end, and yamaha top end (round eyes SHO) those have a tendency to break the sprockets off the cams. Easy fix is to weld the sprockets to the cams. We have a unofficial trade in ;) if you need something.

I think i'm going auto in my 1g (build the shit out of it) and manual for my 2g... Just not sure If I wanna put the cph51 in the 2g or sale it.

Typically when you find one they're either beat up or over 220k miles. Which is what took me so long to decide on one. :p DSMs are a dime a dozen, though, and are almost always a certainty of picking up a headache. Can't really #### with the reliability of the ole' 5.3. Unless it's a 5.7 Hemi. >> Love those things.
 
My mom lives in judsonia (like 10 min from Searcy, if you don't have a cable by the time I get my car going strong, I can swing by. You need it for a few days or just to do some quick tuning? I know a little about idle tuning and cruise tuning. Haven't got to learn WOT yet, but have done plenty of reading.
 
Does anybody have a injector rail spacer? I need one.

Just an FYI Conway is getting a new mall with 4 round-abouts and new I-40 overpass!

I appreciate it, but I'm gonma order the cable when I get paid tomorrow. I do have a 95 eprom (wooo) with v3 already in it. But does anyone know why there appears to be an obd1 port with only 1 pin in the #1 spot in front of the obd2 port? Never seen that before. Unless previous owner had a knockoff cable and needed to provide the 12v pin....idk.

That is the Flash Point which is standard in 98-99 DSMs with a Black Box ECU. You ground this pin out using a specific stereo-style plug/pin connection in order to upload and download information from the stock Black Box ECU which used to be there. Now that you have a 95 ECU in a 98 car (Eh..) you can either just remove that plug or just ignore it. You won't be using it at all. Otherwise it's entirely stock and is found in every 98-99 car with a Black Box ECU.
