Last Thursday picking up my girlfriend from her highschool I got hit.. I was driving down the isle and a kid whipped through two parking spots and nailed me.. The damage doesn't seem too bad until you open the hood and some metal by where the smic should be is bent and crunched..
My insurance estimated 2k in damage but they only want to put on used parts.. I have 200$ headlights that got smashed and they want to put on cheap headlights. Even worse yet, the kid refuses to answer any insurance company calls.. Cop said it was his fault but didn't issue a ticket due to it being on private property.. I am sick of stupid rich kids getting in accidents, not caring, and not taking care of business. I am about ready to go knock on the kids door and make him call the insurance.
I guess my rant is over.. I've put thousands of dollars, blood, sweat and tears into my car.. All for a little teen prick driving mommy and daddy's car to wreck it.. Here is a pic of the damage.

Damages to the hood, bumper, fender, light, and some support material under the hood. And it's now out of alignment.
