Anyway my 98 GST has a plastic ECU MD346675 E2T68273 H3
Supposed 99 ECU metal MD321912 E2T61677 5Y18.

Question, flip plug wires and it runs but not any better. I haven't drove enough to see if monitors set but is this a 99 ECU and will i have to have it programed for a 98 GST?

The MD321912 is an ECU from a 1996 FWD, turbo, manual car. It is not reflashable.

The first ECU you mentioned: MD346675 is the H8 ecu you are able to reflash.

Yes you will need to swap plug wires if you switch between these ECUs. I'm not really sure what you are asking but hopefully this is the info you were looking for.

MD321912 is a non EPROM metal ECU from 1995-1997. Only 98-99 cars had the plastic ECU.

I can't exactly determine if its a 97 ECU since the CAS is on passenger side. It's possible if its a pre 97 then the ECU has to read a different firing order.

^^^Edit : Lol you beat me to it by the minute

Finally got up with a dealership tech MD321912 is a 96 GSX ECU the other one is my stock 98 GST ECU.

Tech also stated that MD395402 is a 99 GST ECU and MD395403 is a 99 GSX ECU.

What I was looking is to fix the monitors problem with my GST. Also new o2 sensor, changed MAF and still pig rich when under boost any little bit, any ideas?

Done this with both ECUs, only way to stop this is with the SAFC.

I'm not sure but I think you're trying to get the ECU readiness codes set for emissions testing. Is this issue for your N/T (w/ turbo) showing in your avatar? IIRC you may have some troubles because only the turbo platforms were known to have this problem & the Chrysler platform (with 420A motor) did not. The EPA allowed an exception for the turbo platforms readiness codes.
This thread (which is long) has a lot of discussion & help. You may want to go through it.

Good luck.
