Alright so after a very long wait for my short block, I finally get it. Only to find out it is a NA block upon inspection. Today, unwrapped it, took the pistons/rods out, and....where the hell are the oil squirters? So take the tarp off of my old block to compare. Also compared pistons/rods too.

I don't know what to do. Paid $375 shipped for this short block via paypal from a trusted member on here. He was not aware this was NA. It came out of his turboed 2G Talon TSi AWD. He ended up having to pay $288 to ship this thing out. So I can't see shipping it back to him being a solution. What should I do?

Here are some pics....

So, it HAS to be a 1G 7 bolt NA engine.

Make sure that the front of that block is the same as the front of the block in your car. The 2g 7 bolts are different than the 1g 6bolts in the drivers side mount area. So are the 1g 7bolts like the 6 bolts?or the 2g 7 bolts?

I will check in the morning. I am at work till 10 and the car is at the in-laws'.

Sorry to bring this alive, I can't find this anywhere...

I just read above the 63DTK1 is a 1g 7 bolt turbo piston....what about the 63DTK?

3 of my pistons say 63DTK1 and 1 says 63DTK..
Looks different...looks pretty much like the 63DK, OP posted in his first post.
