Going to buy a rebuilt 6 bolt motor from a guy here on the forum. He's selling a motor that was rebuilt about 15-20k ago using Wiesco 8.5:1 pistons with eagle hbeam rods, bse, l19 head studs, cometic gasket, bc springs and retainers, 3G lifters
Seems like a real nice set up. I know the stock rods and pistons for a 1g are rated to handle 450-500 horsepower. My gvr4 is a daily driver and wont see anything near that. Im running a 20g on about 25 psi.
Is this motor overkill to the point where I shouldn't get it? Is a motor like this good for a DD? Or it just better insurance that something is less likely to break on me?
